The hotel was a complete letdown. My room had no air conditioning, and despite my complaints, nothing was done. The red rug was covered in black stains-and let’s just say, there were other stains I’d rather not describe. It wasn’t until the second night, at 11:30 pm, that a nice guy named Suhell moved us, but only to a tiny room that was half the size and would’ve been half the cost of the original room I had. To make matters worse, the views were completely obstructed by scaffolding and white sheets, so I couldn’t even enjoy the view I was supposed to have. To top it off, at checkout, they told me they couldn’t do anything since I booked through an agency, but they generously offered a measly 10% refund, which was laughable given the circumstances. The only reason I’m giving this place even one star is because the location was perfect. Oh, and when I asked for a simple can of Coke, they didn’t have any, and one staff member was downright rude (though, to be fair, the others were decent). Brussels was amazing, and the people were fantastic-I’ll definitely be back. But this hotel? Never again
