What I really liked in this film was how srk plans a perfect proposal,yet he fails . It's like a fairy tale but that scene really hits hard . And also when manu visits her home and sees "manu ki kothi", I mean that's what every child wants, to help parents financially and see a smile and pride in their faces.
5:38 Its not outdated script or movie its just srk and raju sir are trying to get us back tht peak era of bollywood 🥺 where comedy had humour not adult jokes and where romance meant love 👀 not adult scenes and the era where songs were lyrically and vocally strong not autotune with nonsense lyrics ❤*they are bringing back the bollywood which grew up watching ❣️ and i think they have made wonderful step through this movie... Dunki is another masterpiece which will never grow old 😌❣️

I felt it on a personal level. I mean, I lived abroad, did odd jobs despite having a masters and somehow returned home to my toxic family. Somewhere I want to just live, but I know the struggles one faces abroad. Yet part of me just wants to stay, but in a toxic environment, it is impossible. But I'll never go using the illegal route.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Star. Amazing performance by SRK. Great direction by Hirani. Movie shows real life. Reminded me of news I had read in NY Times last year which shared information about a Gujarati family froze to death while trying to enter USA illegally through Canada border by foot in winter. This movie opens everyone's eyes, mainly of illegal immigrants. BTW who is Prabhas???? Never heard of him.
This is the type of movie SRK should be starring in. Content is king. 90s Bollywood is back.

Recently I travelled to Paris France and Berlin Germany for a business trip and met 2 young boys in Paris from Punjab. They narrated me their story and struggled they faced after spending 17-20 lakh each for illegal migration through some route in Belarus and Poland. The way they mentioned seems horrible as they’ve to go through life threatening situations in forest and even walked through deadliest glaciers and had to live without food for many days. Now, they were working in restaurant and stills breaking lot of metro rules and even others as they don’t have money to live properly and peacefully. Still they were hopeful to get some good job and eventually citizenship.

डंकी एक साफ़ सुथरी अच्छा संदेश देते पारिवारिक फिल्म है । कुछ हद तक वीर जारा की याद दिलाती है । एनिमल जैसी फिल्मों को अपना आदर्श मानने वाले लोगो के लिए यह फिल्म नही है क्युकी इस फिल्म में नायिका जब पहली बार भारत की जमीन पर पैर रखती है तो पैरो की सैंडल उतार देती है और नायक उसके पैरो की उस सैंडल को हाथ मे लिए खड़ा दिखता है । अब वांगा साहब को यह दृश्य चित्रित करना हो तो किसी और तरीके से करेंगे जिसका अंदाजा हम सभी को है । जिस प्रकार की फिल्म आ रही है कुछ समय से इस दौरान इस तरह की फिल्म की आवश्यकता समाज को भी थी । यह फिल्म जरूर देखनी चाहिए । सलार से इसकी तुलना कुछ लोग कर रहे है जो होना नही चाहिए सलार एक अलग प्रकार की फिल्म है जो कई भाषाओं मे बड़े बजट के साथ आई है और एक्शन फिल्म है वही दूसरी तरफ यह डंकी एक कॉमेडी साफ़ सुथरी अच्छा संदेश देते अलग विषय पर बनी केवल हिन्दी भाषा मे बनी फिल्म है । आप सलार देखे या न देखे पर डंकी जरूर देखे । एक बेहतरीन नएपन के साथ बनी अच्छी फिल्म है । बॉलीवुड को इसकी आवश्यकता भी है वरना सलार जैसी फिल्में हर महीने आती रहती है ।
