Sort out my entire kitchen with me, before we move house! Currently de-cluttering, organising, cleaning my entire kitchen, every single cupboard, drawer and the fridge freezer, before we move house! Meal planning and making mental notes of what we do and do not currently have! My kitchen is absolutely full of food, spices, herbs, crockery, and ALL SORTS! Hello my loves! Any organisation storage tips? I want to be on top form when we move so any tips and tricks are most welcome ♥️
I like that Father Christmas cookie jar. He has a nice face.
The spice draw isn’t very deep. I like deep draws. When I bought my place I made the mistake of buying a chest of draws that are not deep and regretted it. Also I made the mistake of purchasing a 7 kg washing machine instead of 10kg. The bigger the better. I now have a 10kg washing machine and a 11kg tumble dryer. Think big.
The salad spinner is not for dressing, it’s for putting wet salad stuff in after you have washed it for the centrifugal force to get all the water off again. It’s great for drying your salad

Oh I seeeeeeeee!! I just mentioned this to Lawrence and this is what he's always used it for apparently, it's just me who was using it incorrectly haha! Luckily he's the salad man.

A tip i’d say is replace that storage basket with a container with straight sides so things can stand up inside. Slanted sides on containers mean wasted space. Well done for starting the de-clutter. It’s a pain to do but always pleasing when it’s done.

One tip, I always write the dates with a felt tip pen on any jars etc that I open then I know when they are no longer safe to use. I have also invested in airtight containers as they keep biscuits, cereals etc fresh for so much longer. I am lucky to have a walk-in larder which is great as you can see anything that needs replacing before shopping.

We're getting packers and movers, so it's my job to make sure every single thing in the house is decluttered and ready and clean, and the packers and movers will come to the house the day before with boxes and box absolutely everything up and move it to the new place! Magic! Xx

Not yet :( But we haven't tackled the whole house/upstairs yet. If we don't find it, they'll be replaced, and I swear never to take them off again! Silly pregnancy brain!! ♥️

Hopefully your new place will have under counter drawers. So much easier than cupboards where one can never see what is lurking in the back❤️😂🇨🇦
We will need to redo the kitchen eventually when we move and I have so many “must haves” for the new kitchen layout!! Including no high up cupboards for things to vanish inside of 😅😅♥️
Love your Moving Series and all the declutter. I've been doing the same last summer and it's really great, when you take the time to go into each corner...
I was wondering about your comment on the salad spinner. We use these for removing water after washing the salad...

I knowwwww hahah we are weirdos!! To be fair the left over was orange chocolate twirls and I just cannot eat orange flavoured chocolate unless it's festive season! 😆
