5:07.. the jab got him down but the announcer says the right hand which didn't land... whatever Morrison put up a hell of a fight, I doubt the people talking shit can do what hes done.
Yes, of course I know..Lewis got caught..no excuses and he didn't make any either...but he came back and avenged that loss and similarly came back and brutally avenged his only other loss to Rahman in the 6th round. When Lewis was not complacent and in his most dangerous mindset, there was truely no heavyweight in history that would have beaten him..only a prime Lewis catching him good and flush or Vitali could have had the chance..that's it!
It's a shame that Lewis and Holyfield only fought Tyson after he had lost several years in prison. To me, Mike Tyson peaked with his victory over Spinks. After that, he changed his handlers and it all went downhill.
Really difficult to fight when you can only see out of one eye because it affects your range. Lewis, with height and reach advantages, was only going to bust him up even more. Morrison's only real hope was to get lucky with a wild swing and if that's your only remaining tactic against a guy like Lewis then you're best off out of it.
Yeah, fair comments regarding Klitscho...but the only thing was I think he was 36 or 37 when he fought Vitali. There is no heavy ever who would have beaten a prime Lewis in the best frame of mind, non complacent and really turning up to fight..not one.
Damn, people are still on here hoping and wishing the Vitali Klitschko decision didn't exist? The fight was stopped, Vitali was deemed incapable of continuing. Those are the rules and he lost. People wishing not to acknowledge the results does not change the results. Sorry.
lennox lewis had one of the worst boxing strategies of all time why he won is because of his amazing reach he always had his hands down if he would of boxed tommy in his prime this would be different
Lol, Lewis won that fight and made a real mess of Vits face..Vit even said that Lewis was very tough and whilst I agree that Vitali was a very tough opponent for Lewis, Lewis was on the way to a TKO stoppage for sure. Vitali is a truly great fighter though and both he and Lewis are the most dominant the world has seen.
Lennox punched him in a clinch which is why his eye got so messed up. Vitali was up on points and if the fight kept on going Vitali most likely would have knocked him out. Winning because you cut someone's eye is the lamest way to win, though it's no fault of Lewis that it ended that way. No disrespect to Lennox though he's an amazing fighter.
lennox attaks the most the eyes!tyson, vitaly, morrison and others haved same injuries. the thing i dont like the most about lewys is that he usually fights boxers that they are coming back to the ring or they are about to retire(exception vitaly).Someone that haves a Little respect would not fight an already defeated Tyson.Tyson wasnt prepeared for fight lennox at that time.
Absolute nonsense. Tyson wasn't a 'champion' when D'Amato died, and he wasn't a champion-calibre heavyweight at that time. His corner, that which you deride, saw him through the development to the peak of his career. His peak occurred long after D'Amato was gone. That's simply a fact.
What do you mean, post-Cus D'Amato? Tyson had only fought about 10 pro fights when Cus died. His corner didn't seem to be serving him too bad over the next almost 30 fights. You probably mean Rooney, but even that'sw a BS excuse used by Tyson fanboys.
Lewis is a very smart, boring fighter. All of his fights are boring, for the most part. Like the Klitschkos, he's content to sit back and outscore his opponent w/jabs via his long reach. He dominated Morrison, no doubt, but Lewis wil never be considered to be an EXCITING champion. He has his place in boxing history, but compared to other heavyweights he's a real bore to watch in the ring due to the fact that he chooses to fight smart; never getting engaged "slug fests."
Yeah, nothing special. Just one of the best HWs of all time, and the dominant HW of his era, which was a strong one. Let me guess: another Tyson fanboy?
What a truly stupid comment. Lewis took Tua, Rahman (twice), Grant, Golotta, Vitali, Holyfield (etc) at their peak. He wanted Bowe, but Bowe didn't want Lennox. He wanted Tyson before 2002, but Tyson's people onstructed that from happening. Lewis was the best and most dominant HW of his era, hands down. And your comment is plain nonsense, sorry. Typical Tyson fanboy dialogue.
lewis is very underrated
Tommy and tyson are the Best
RIP Tommy
Nunca foi páreo para o Lennox Lewis.
Lennox Lewis was my favorite fighter to watch while he was active, and I remember him fondly...but damn was he dirty!
5:07.. the jab got him down but the announcer says the right hand which didn't land... whatever Morrison put up a hell of a fight, I doubt the people talking shit can do what hes done.
How would you consider Lewis vs Foreman?
Lennox Lewis was the best heavy weight boxer the world has ever seen, anyone who says otherwise is in denial.

@ CoolerKing37...I agree w/you 100%.

I would want to fight an already defeated Tyson as well.
He couldn't handle Foreman at his 40's!
Shame

2:03 tired pit bulls :F
Ah, yes, the 'prime' argument. Lennox was just plain better than Morrison ever was. Case closed. 'Prime' Lewis beats 'prime' Morrison every time.

Morrison was no match for Lenox Lewis plus he could not see out of one eye
why fighitng lennox in the distance? that was the worst he could do
lol

morrison have very poor defence
The first five words of your comment is ridiculous.
