Thank you, I was trying to remember how to make this cornstarch glue. I did it for my apartment, now in going too do it in the house too. I would usually apply the glue with a brush, then put the material on and after apply more on top of it. I like your method too. Didn't know about borax, I'm at that this time.

That’s amazing. I’ve had to redo a few of my window covers recently because with the freezing temperatures some have frozen and peel slightly. Luckily it is so easy to do. 😁

What do you recommend for sliding glass cabinet doors? I imagine this method would peel off with sliding… thank you!

You may want to consider making the picture or lace a tiny bit smaller all the way round and as long as when it slides the panels don't touch, it should work. Definitely worth a try as you can just remove it :-). Also consider the self adhesive lace designs for windows.

That’s really pretty. How long does it last? I’m renting. I would like to do it then leave it until I move.

Hello. The first time I did this in the current house it was up for more than 3 years. I then needed to wash them and redid them. A year later they are still in place with only a few coming off and I simply redid them. Try it. No damage and easy to change when you want a new design. 😁

I want to do this on an interior flat door. The fabric is polyester (a semi sheer drapery panel) is there a way to protect the fabric once it dry from stains?

Hi, this is meant to be removable so I would think that anything you put onto it to protect the surface may interfere with this. Just be careful where you place it so it cannot get dirty perhaps. Good luck with whatever you do.

Can I use this on wooden kitchen cabinets?

Definitely. Try it and the worst that will happen is it peels off and you’ll have to try again.

The window I want to do get 6 hours fierce sun right during the year....will the curtain stick with all the sun?

I'm not sure as the sun in England is a bit elusive. However, it is definitely worth trying. :-)
