- On June 26th, 2023 at approximately 3:15pm this miscellaneous Canadian National train on the Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad accelerated through Hamburg Road crossing in Greenville, Pennsylvania.
Locomotives:
BLE 862, an EMD SD38 (DMIR paint)
BLE 868, an EMD SD38AC
Thumbs up!!! 😀😀
I see those two run by my house a couple of times a week, good show!
8 n’ sand!
Yessir! Thanks as always for everything. Couldn't have filmed without you!!
Great sound!
Couldn't agree more!
That notch 8 rumble never gets old! Glad we could experience this moment in history.
Me too! Unfortunately 868 is no longer with the Bessemer, and 862's horn got significantly worse. This will likely never be seen again
That's one of the coolest Bessemer videos I've seen! For as many times as I've seen the misc I've never seen one that long and never seen those gondolas on a misc. It's unfortunate that 868 is off the property and 862's horn has been severely fouled
Thank you! I'll certainly miss 868, I'm quite partial to that locomotive. Sad to hear that 862s horn is weird now too
Scottie, more blue def! I'm givin' all I got Captain! ( LOL )
🤣🤣
i’d rather drive a clapped out emd anyday…believe me, there’s a reason they’ve been around so long….signed by Engineer
Absolutely! Emds just keep on working. If something isn't broken, don't fix it. Thanks for your thoughtful comment.
Nice power with the SD38 leader and he sounded heavy.😊😊
This definitely was a lot of load for those old diesels. Love to see and hear them working hard!
@@oldmainproductions I believe it.
Gotta love seeing locomotives in notch 8
Always a great sound and sight to behold! Have a good night
Blue smoke good. Engines running well.
Good to know!
@@oldmainproductions I think that was a sarcastic comment, blue means the engine is burning oil
