Things I think you might find useful while playing EVE:
1. Learn the hotkeys for drones (or setup ur personal hotkeys for them)
2. You don't need to pull in all the drones if one get fired at (btw, you can pull in/out drones with drag and drop)
3. Create groups for your drones (works good with drag and drop thingy).
4. You almost died because you got at 10km instead of 5km. So, use your web and turn of your MWD for smaller sign~
5. Shift click on one module will overheat only that module (no need to OH a full rack).
6. While you were orbiting in the last room, you had a lot of enemies under 10km and didn't web+shot them until late, so better prio for targets would help.
7. While you orbit you enemies 'orbit' too, so, you get bad transversal angles. Try to go in a straight line with only 5% more speed then they got (you can do that by clicking on your speed display).
This all could win you a lot of time and get better dmg apply on your targets~

You said that you wanted to keep traversal high, got to within 25 km, and hit orbit... a 2 km orbit. That's the reason you got wrecked there. Your ship basically made a 90 degree turn straight into the BS guns. Try spiraling in manually until you're much closer, but understand the orbit command will still pick a random direction to orbit and can screw you very hard, so be careful. Also, consider your ship's agility, if you tell it to orbit too close, you lose alot of speed as the ship has to turn sharply constantly. If you look, you are only going about half your speed around the BS with your MWD on.
Also, being 'under' a ship's guns isn't only about your speed. It also uses your sig size in the calculations. The BS was getting a huge tracking bonus, and the sig bloom from your MWD was NOT a good idea while that was happening.
Filling your resist holes with rigs can work, but the Omen isn't a high armor ship, and you were still getting chunked. Trimarks with active resist mods would probably have served you better, just something to think about. Also, both armor resist, and Trimark rigs reduce your velocity, so if you're trying to go fast, you might want to switch to Aux Nanos or Nanobots. You'll still get chunked if you get hit, but you'll go faster, and you'll rep for more. Also something to think about.
Don't create your layouts with trying to keep drones from tracking you well... nothing you can do will make that happen. Literally, no matter how fast you are moving, drones will always keep up with you and track you. Also, every cruiser in the game uses the 'medium' sized weapon for that weapon system. Trying to fit oversized weapons on your cruiser is simply too silly to consider. Also, the Omen likes to be a sniper more than a brawler, consider beams instead of pulse.

Hi man, nice video! All the people doing it with Gila that cost really a lot more, and every people seems to overfitting for t2 even... I have an Omen like you but don't have t2 weap, for now did just the T1 (super easy) and I think I could go for T2 but I'm waiting to upgrade medium energy turret and Amarr cruiser more. If it's done with a normal Omen with the navy one should be easy t3 for you? Would be rather happy to have some people that show other ships in abyssal filaments with more economics fit.. Well 30 sec was a lucky one too ahahaha

What your ship skills on that omen?
The reason you suddenly started taking damage is because the NPC is faster than you when you have your mwd off and you don't web it.
The NPC pulled range and made your ship go straight after it making you much easier to hit.
A navy omen with DED modules could give you a more comfortable run... This one was quite risky o/

Yep. I got a large spawn of small rogue drones and I didnt have anti drone towers. Mallers guns had trouble tracking them and it can only launch 3 drones. Couldnt kill them all in time

So much risk for so little reward. Implants are usually worth half a billion on the short end. Nice video.
gila is OP for abyssal
It is! I have been using one up to tier 3 but have been running into issues in tier 4s
4x Rapid Light
3x LSE
10mn AB
2x Adaptive (swap in EM Ward for electrical filament)
1x DC2
2x DDA
3x Medium Core Defense Purger II
mixed DMG light missles, at least 2 of all navy drones
obliterates gammas and firestorms in t4. havent tried t5 but I think it could do a t5 gamma.
Of course, its expensive, 450m or so. prioritize neuts but doesn't care about damping or anything. split medium drones on smaller targets. I have near max skills though. Also takes kinda long to clear t4s. always scooting out with a few minutes left.
That is close to my fit except for a few mods. The neuting leshaks always kill me. Need to try to brawl them down next time.
I had a 6 BS spawn with this fit. Tight orbit forces striking bs to reset entropy.

You are using the wrong drones
what do you mean?
The best damage types to deal are explosive and thermal on those npc's, not em.
Please read what MWD does before using it.
I know what it does, It makes you go super fast! :)
The Gentleman Gamer also makes your ship easier to get hit
