Robin - I am also looking at the Pivot and the Kondor Blue. If the KB had been in stock, would you have gone with it? It's superbly built and the shoulder pad is much better than the Pivot. Thanks for the video, nicely done!
Thank you! You know it's a tough answer to give while staying honest, I haven't personally tried the Kondor, they have the basic and the pro kit. The pro kit was the one I was looking for but also more expensive and since I'm buying in CAD it was part of the reason too. However, the Kondor Pro comes with a V-mount plate that has a D-tap. But overall the Polar Pro is more portable, and I really enjoy the ease of use. It's a really well-thought product for small to medium cine cams.
