I'm a bass player and I feel mad props are due to the bass here. I'm not sure I could maintain those simple lines for so long without flubbing. Nice! Top-notch musicianship all around.
Great show, great groove, great atmosphere as dusk settles on the city. All the musicians are brilliant. The guitarist on his short solo channelling Carlos Santana. The horns. The bass. The congas. Oh yeah, the singers obvs. I could go on...
This drummer is absolutely perfect in timing, With him, this fabulous big band and the singers are a total attraction and brings all over to the audience. Great, great Kuti inspired stuff. Take this America. Take care D.T. and all republican stupids.
