i think a lot of people w tourettes see a decrease in their tics when they’re doing something requiring extreme concentration, like when she does her makeup, or when she does gymnastics on her channel.
I love you Evie you are such a an inspiration and always reminds me not to let my mental disorders take over my whole life and that there are some positives that I can focus on so thank you for helping me .
Genuine question: do those tics ramp up when using public transport due to the closeness of many people? Off topic: I really would like to know if there was a chance to see that crochet jacket in a separate video.
Love your chAnnel!! I subscribed now and liked! I was wondering, could you do more signing songs videos or just a signing in general video! You don't have to just that I would appreciate it! I love your chAnnel 💘!! Stay safe, xxxx
May God bless all the people suffering from any kind of ailments be it mental or physical....may god heal them and protect then in His loving care...life can be cruel sometimes therefore we must be kind and helpful towards each other. Its hard to cope up in this ruthless and unforgiving world...empthy and care is the best gift we can give to those around us. Remember karma hits hard...share peace and happiness and make it easy for everyone!
I can understand you a lot about public transports because precisely a personal trauma about seizures was formed in a public transport 10 years ago, if you know my story I always comment on it. If you want to know something about me, since then I have a phobia of public transport in general, it has been difficult for me and my family, a hug warrior 🤗💜✨🐼🧠
I am a Korean. My younger brother who I know also has 'tic'. But I thought my close brother's tics were bad, but I suddenly got sad to see people with these similar tics.Because I only found out now that I had more serious and distressing tics than my brother, and it felt very hard to have successive tics
I also have Tic but it's hard to control so I let it happen in my daily activities😢😢it's really sad and very annoying But I'm not really like you Don't worry, friend, you have the same friends, even singer Billie Ellis is like that, but she is still confident I want there to be a group or community of fellow sufferers of Tic Touret syndrome #greetingsfromindonesia
Hi Eve could you do a video on how you mage your tics and have learned to live with them and not let it define you, as well as tips for ppl who's recently started or recently gotten diagnosed with tics or a ticcing disorder 😊
I think it's pretty cool. I've never seen anyone have two ticks that were actually tick and the clicking of the tongue that sound like ticks. I think you're beautiful. Please don't let it bother you.
I think this thing is very useful for my shitty brain because it's better to hear those sounds distracting from shitty memories but sweet(!) voices outside never distract me when it comes to shitty memories. Shit of destiny.
I'm not kidding, by the way. I do those things by knowing because I want to distract myself from the shitty images swimming in front of me by those different sounds irrelative with the shitty images.
@@bigassjoe This channel is literally about disability awareness. Let’s not be rude to people with vision loss for something as simple as spelling a word wrong in a supportive comment. You don’t know anything about how their vision loss affects them.
I probably have touretts but am not diagnosed professionally. I get minor tics alot of the time. Do you ever have very minor tics or are they all super noticeable?
I have a very genuine question although I’m assuming the answer most likely differs depending on the person but I’m gonna give it a go to get at least one opinion : I very rarely saw someone with Tourette’s in transports, but it has happened. I’m a nice guy, always offer my help to strangers when I feel it could be used, I smile and talk to people at the shop or in transports if people are open to it. In that context, I have smiled kindly at those people, but wanted to do more and chat, because I’m assuming having tics in public like that, alone, can be quite a lonely and anxiety-ridden experience. Would a stranger coming to you, talking to you genuinely, nicely, and with the best intentions; would that make you feel more included / reassured or do you prefer for people to just leave you alone? Like again, I’m the guy who will smile at people and make conversation with elders for example, it’s not in a creepy way I’m asking this 😅😅
I hate the freaking car clicker one me and four of my friends all have it and we will just sit in a circle clicking it’s a problem. also the music is very nice 👍
I wish I could figure out if I have tics. How do I know if I have control over myself? I sort of live in this way where I don't care what people think of me and I am able to give into my impulses without embarrassment but I'm not sure of the severity of my impulses compared to people with a disorder. It does affect my daily life so maybe I am suffering right along with you. I wouldn't want to inhibit my body movement but maybe I cannot completely do that anyways. Hmmmm
People with tics are usually able to hold in their tics for different amounts of time, but it’s usually uncomfortable, painful, and really difficult. Impulses won’t cause physical discomfort and pain if you don’t do them, although they may cause emotional discomfort. And tics can be very small too, sometimes they’re as simple as blinking or raising your eyebrows. My best advice is to go to a doctor about it and get a recording of it to show them just in case it doesn’t happen in the doctors office. I’m no doctor, but it sounds likely that your “impulses” are actually the premonitory urge that often comes before a tic, and when you act on those impulses you’re doing a tic to relive that urge.
I love how the music fits in perfectly with your tics 😅🧡
i didn’t even notice till after posting🤣

Do you get them when you’re sleeping?
