not sure how many anthony style beds had wood in them. ours has a metal floor. Also the cab window should have a pinstripe and the top of the cab does not have the windlace color correct. But a really nice example.
Thanks Richard. I appreciate the pre-war deluxe trim too. I hand made most of the trim on this '49 truck. I regret selling it, but I still own a 1940 Deluxe 201.
The "incorrect, gaudy white tires" were available options and illustrated in the original sales ads. The particular fender lights on this truck are re-pop units, and again, at one time, DT offered fendertop lights with a very similar design. Looks too fancy to be a post-war 201. Pre-war models are ultra deluxe. Fender lights date from the 1930s. Wish my '49 looked that nice.
