Best accessorie for an old truck ....... a spinner on the steering wheel, mounted at about 10:30 on the steering wheel. I had a 46 Diamond T, beautiful body.
Thanks for the upload. I live in Qld. Aust. When i was 12, we had to travel from Springbrook to Southport each day (2hr. journey) for high school, on a Diamond T bes. The owner kept a car at Southport so he could travel home to get his Diamond T truck to work during school hrs. then travel back to Southport by 3.10 to pick up the children & return to Springbrook. Golden days.
beautiful-I drive a 201 for 16yrs-back and forth to work-worked at a ready mix plant they had a fleet of diamond Reo's-I would dump one yrd of concrete in the box-and pour footings after work-only time it rode good-21 rear LEAF SPRINGS-it was called the penalty wagon-I bought it from skelly oil-so if you broke down your ford or chevy you got the penalty wagon---
What a fine, tough-looking truck that is. The crank windshield is still a great idea, but I'd hate to have to drive a double-clutcher like that in heavy traffic. Thanks for the video.
Neat truck. There a running unrestored 1950'ish Diamond T in my local Portland neighborhood. I make a point to drive down his street to just to see it...
great looking vehicle be well may God bless you live long so you could enjoy this ride I noticed while you were riding around you are a little bit like me very shy and bashful good luck
Incredible!!!!! Thanks for making this fantastic video. I knew the story about Diamond T name but did REO buy Diamond T? I have seen later trucks called REO Diamond T and the style was so similar there has to be a merger somewhere along the line.

Pretty sweet to see an original Diamond T and not another automatic small-block Chevy "Bubba job". Diamond T trucks are fairly rare any more.
the old T's were a real work horse and tough as could be; were fun to ride and drive.thanks fo the memories.
Thank you, it brings back memories as an employee at the plant in Chicago.
I miss hearing the whine of the gears on these old trucks when I was a kid growing up in the '80s

I saw the video in its original configuration a few years back. I like how you re-edited it.

It's a beautiful truck. Great video. thanks Chuck.
It took him one year to restore it? Wow he was fast!
You are awesome. I'm from Saudi Arabia and I love your work. Keep it up uncle Bill
Love to see someone restore something Like that. I noticed he had to double clutch it.

My friend grandpa had a one and a half ton Dump Truck, I was 9 years old it was the same color and front end looks the same.
More great work Chuck!!
Thank you Uncle Bill.
I love the dual rear wheels. You could tow a trailer with something like that.
