  • Amanda Araujo is a fifth year Civil Engineering student at the University of Alberta who is passionate about Construction and Water Resources Management. Her Integrative Project entitled "Sustainability in Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs)" focuses on approaches to energy optimization and carbon footprint reduction of the plants. Her project idea was inspired by her desire to raise awareness about water scarcity and encourage responsible consumption, along with issues associated with WWTPs.
