I am a big fan of budget gear and run quite a bit of no-name or cheap name stuff. When it comes to optics, though, I've definitely not had good luck with cheaper gear. I run the same Vortex Crossfires that you reviewed and love them. I've lost count of how many cheap binos I've ditched in the past.
I totally understand and agree. Especially if you are in hill country. Here in Michigan, i rarely use binos when hunting because i'm in thick woods. But if you are in open sky country, clarity and magnification are everything. The Vortex are great options. Thanks for watching.
Your review at least shows that TEMU has decent binos even if it wasn't an apples-to-apples comparison. I do love the lifetime warranty and no questions asked with Vortex. They truly do stand behind their products. 👍🏼
Awesome review!!! I’m with you on saying the temu’s are great for stashing them in places that I wasn’t necessarily needing them constantly but I can say vortex lifetime warranty works like advertised from personal experience. Thanks for sharing 👍
I agree. I have 3 (now 2) sets of cheap ones, but i'm pretty happy with the Vortex warrantee. They said i'll have a repaired/replaced set in a few weeks. Thanks for watching.
Just ordered a pair of 12x50 from temu and didnt think to check a review until after 😅 thankfully this video makes me think i have a shot at a good purchase! Ive been getting some real good gear from temu tbh, my camping supplies have gone from simple and effective to completely over the top and i love it
Hopefully they work out well for you. I have had a bunch of decent products from Temu, but have also had some junk. Thanks for watching and commenting.
The Vortex are about the same as cheap binos unless you step up to at least the Diamondbacks or higher IMHO LOOKED at the crossfire was not impressed at all.
The cheapest thing doesn't always equal a "budget" product. A $25 temu binocular is not budget; it's junk. The thing about a lot of products is that often times people don't know the difference between junk, budget, and high end products, and that's especially true when it comes to optics/binoculars. To be honest, the vortex is a budget binocular, they just happen to be very good budget binos. You can find other good budget binos from Carson, Athlon, Celestron, Bresser etc.. Buy according to features... bak-4 glass, fully multi coated, nitogen purged, waterproof etc.. you're not going to get that for $25 from temu or anywhere else. If you can't afford budget roof prism binos then get a set of good porro prisms for less money instead of a junk set. If you're looking to buy the cheapest thing that's easily replaceable and you don't know enough to distinguish quality or care about the difference between bak-4/bk-7, coated/fully coated/multi coated/fully multi coated, phase correction, ED, HD, poly frame/aluminum frame/magnesium frame etc, then just buy the cheapest thing and convince yourself it's fine because they'll all magnify whatever you're looking at.
Thanks for your feedback. I appreciate it. You need to watch and listen to what i say about them. They are a good set to keep in the truck, and NOT as good aa the Vortex. However, i don't care about "stats", what i care about is clarity and magnification. And the clarity of these is pretty good. Also, that's what binoculars are for- MAGNIFYING. I do appreciate your level of detail about the bino's. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@j.r.outdoors247 the "stats" is where the quality comes from. I watched the video and I heard what you said. I've also read some of the other comments and seen other people making videos and comments about how some cheap crappy binos are "just as good" as other quality products..I saw a comment on a video a couple weeks ago where a guy said his temu binos were as good as his Zeiss... they're not, and I highly doubt if that person has ever even held a pair of Zeiss let alone owns a pair. I understand that some people just want some level of magnification and don't care about the optical or structural quality, and "good enough" is good enough, and that's fine, but people need to at least understand what quality is and why some products are expensive and others aren't. It's not just binos; people do it with everything. I do appreciate people showing cheaper stuff and showcasing the performance because not everyone can afford or even needs a higher end tool a lot of the time.

Yeah, i was pretty happy with their warrantee. They told me i should have them repaired/replaced in a few weeks. The Temu ones aren't half bad though.

Definitely an affordable option that you don’t have to worry about treating with kid gloves 👍
Thanks, i'm kinda bummed that they broke in the drop test. I would have kept them to use.

how was it
@@bc454irocz89 honestly worked great for a few weeks then the parallax got messed up so it would only focus through one lense at a time.
Nice review. Sometimes the most expensive things your paying for the name
Yeah, i agree. At least the Vortex have the lifetime warrantee- and it is paying off.
Great review. I'm new to the channel I seen your channel on jnj true Outdoor Adventures. Stay safe
Thanks so much. I appreciate to you coming over and supporting. Thanks for watching.
Temu pound for pound👀💯
Thanks so much for watching.

Sorry, unfortunately TEMU has discontinued these binoculars.
