When we lived in PA the mincemeat in stores looked homemade and delicious. When we moved to the Midwest the availability and quality was certainly different. Both of these sound great
been watching u guys for a few years now, tesco is the closest store to me at home in the uk and was cool to see u guys review something from there! as always great review!!! love from the uk :)
Yey ,my local supermarket is Tesco (and we have a Sainsburys too).Mince pies are a Christmas favourite ,but (personal preference) ,i find them nicer warmed through:)..Haven`t spotted the Bauble yet ,but i`ve not been Tesco Christmas shopping ,yet:)xx
That the bauble is even edible is a miracle considering what its free from. Imagine making a desert but it cant contain wheat, egg or milk. How difficult it would be. Nice of tesco to cater to people with allergies and intolerances. It just shows how far we've come in terms of free from ranges and the quality.
I grew up eating homemade Mincemeat pies for the Christmas holidays and I have a lot of relatives and friends that live in Wisconsin who make the pies as well. I see it a lot in Wisconsin and here in Illinois.
Mince pies are one of those Christmas items like egg nog for you that i simply cant buy or ill eat the entire box and make my stummy hurt 😅 i cant stop, i love them so much, they are even better after 10 secs in the microwave with a dollop of brandy butter on top 😋 which i assume you cant get in the USA but definitely try one heated up!
I’ve never had mince meat, but now I want to try it. I like raisins. It reminds of what the inside of a Fig Newton looks like. The Honeycomb Bauble looks too beautiful to cut! I would love to try both. Thank you so much to our sweet Courtney! Great review.
You should! I think the flavors are stronger than what we are used to, but it's delicious in a little pie because the pastry helps to absorb some of the flavor.

In Kentucky, it’s not known at all.
Mincemeat is basically unheard of here too. I do see it though!

I agree - the bauble looks beautiful and delicious! Thanks to Courtney for her generosity and to Tami and Kevin for a great review!
