That pie sure looks good !! I love Mounds. You guys are lucky you have so many markets in your area and can find most new products. None of our markets have this pie, unless they eventually get them. I agree, most pie crusts that you buy to make your own filling, like Pillsbury, are just fine. These ready-made pies I think the problem is being frozen, thawed and the moisture sits in that crust making them like damp cardboard. It's a shame they never work on the crust, trying to improve it, no matter what brand it is. It's bad if you're serving company also because it would be kind of hard to tell your company, eat the filling, leave the crust and they would probably be too polite and eat the whole thing, ruining the experience.
I don’t think creme pies like this need a crust. Marie Calendar has always been my family’s go to for pies. I’m heading to Harris Teeter today to see if I can find the Reese’s pie. Thanks for a great review.

I love an Almond Joy!
What a difference between the photo on the box and the real thing ha! Also, the irony of the weight in grams and the red box 😈
On the fence with this one there’s nothing special to make me want to buy it. Thanks for the review.
