Hi there! Our standard conversion tool says that the 4,5 kg of a Streamer Stage II 5 string equals 9.92 lbs, the same as a Thumb NT 5 string. A Thumb BO 5 string with 4,4 kg equals 9.70 lbs. You can find the weight of all bass models on our website and there are plenty of easy-to-use converting tools around the internet. Thanks for watching!
That bass looks so cool and awesome. That's the first I heard that you can play in either active or passive. If I might remember similar to Ibanez, That pickup can bypass. It's called EQ Bypass, I think. I'll get one someday. They're good quality. Keep it up, Sir Andy. You're the best bassist I ever seen i youtube. 😊👍
I have an American made neck thru bass that I learned on and like but I'm disappointed with the quality of construction and I'm interested to take the plunge to a high-quality fretless instrument. What really interests me here is the Streamer Stage II fretless. What I like is a classic 60s tone in finger style mode. I have two questions on setup and options: 1) would the bass do well with strings like XL Chromes(my current and favorite flats) 2) I notice an optional passive JJ pickup arrangement. Are these hum bucking pups or are they single-coils that can be wired for common mode noise rejection. Would the active JJ scheme be a better idea than the passive one? Could the active JJ arrangement be bypassed and operated in pure passive mode? Thanks for your help. BTW: I am only interested in the German-made version from the pro shop. I don't want to waste money on poorly made basses anymore.
I owned a couple of these in the early 2000s, and they were like 2500 when i bought them. its too bad they raised the prices like they did, because to be honest these basses are one trick ponys. They cannot pull a fender sound (if thats what you are looking for) but they are super well built. I regret selling my 5 string, but i would never pay the prices they want these days. Still a great bass!
I'm about to buy one of these ones and I'd like to know: are these basses made in Germany or Korea? What models are made in Germany? Thank you so much!
Ignacio Solmonese, this bass is handcrafted completly in germany like every instrument from the custom shop series. Also the new german pro series is made here in germany. Only the rockbass line is made in china. Please have a look at our website: warwick.de/en/Warwick---Products--Instruments.html:)
most RUclips comments are only made to tell the world about the gear you own. I detest that. It's like a pissing contest. That said, I own this bass but I'm only saying that to prove I speak the truth when I say this is an amazing bass. It might not be everyone's cuppa tea but if it is you'll never wanna part with it. EVER!
i bought this bass guitar, i like it very much,, a little bit disappointing with the price that i paid, it does not come with Warwick Strap,, but aside from that, i love my dream bass!!!
Thats why they have the rockbass line. $500 to $900. i have a streamer standard and a fortress 5 string. though they are the cheaper models the quality is amazing.
Jesus H Christ this dude is great at showcasing basses. Mad respect.
Beautiful...my favourite Warwick sound!

Yes Wenge again! These looked so much better with the darker necks!
Good stuff Warwick! I really respect your company when you go all the way to prioritize carbon-neutral production!
