P-Nut, this Bass, Andy Irvine and the original demo video of this Bass made me buy my first Warwick. Now im a Warwick artist for life!!! 311 are one of the best bands in the world! This is the best bass demo video! Thanks Warwick, P-Nut and Andy!!!
Rhoods Kevin i saw it listed for around 40 bucks, not that bad really when you compare it to a regular old non adjustable nut you can buy for 15-20 dollars though i guess it depends on the material its made out of.
I managed to get one for a steal at 3g's on amazon of all places...was used but unplayed. Amazing bass! Got a streamer stage II 4 string so now I'm pretty much set for life (almost a little depressing cause I love buying bass's)
Push/Pull on the volume knob of this bass with the SD pre activates slap contour for which trim pots inside the pre/battery compartment can be adjusted
Awesome, awesome bass. Hope to get my hands on it someday. By the way, does anyone else think Andy looks a lot like Hank from Breaking Bad? Props on the playing, Andy!
I can't find the Bassline Active Hambucker pickup from the main sellers, I'm looking for it to make a custom bass (combinet with an active single coil on the neck). Someone knows how i can find this product?
Obviously, a view first basses of the p-nut signature III series do have illuminated dots, the nut is not made of brass, also the invisible fret Technologie is missing. This should be considered if buying a used one!
These warwick videos would sound a lot better if they didn’t demo with brand new strings. They sound overly bright and buzzy in these. My streamer sounded like that for a week or two then mellowed out nicely.
Hey people of warwick your sound is fantastic but I have a warwick streamer lx5 with mec preamp and pickups made in Germany ,I replace the preamp I put aguilar obp 3 with the mec pickups and waooooo that is a fucking awesome sound wao I sleep with my bass now o god very powerful sound and clear Exelent med treble bass wao I used to have many tipe of basses like ken smith, yamaha ,ibanez,Spector and this warwick now go on top of all of them I am selling all of these basses now ,now I got what I was looking for
As an ex-owner of the thumb bass from the nineties i can state that their stock preamp sucks a lot. You have done a wise replacement, because the mec pre has lack of a low end and a punch in comparison with aguilar, glockenklang, bartolini, emg and stock mm stingray ones.
Naturalmente, si cambias un ecualizador de fábrica por uno Aguilar, el sonido va a cambiar mucho. Aunque personalmente uso Bartolini, Aguilar es un excelente "upgrade" para cualquier ecualizador. Not in vain Wooten uses Aguilar preamps and amps...
One of my all time favorite bass players and bands along with Ryan Martinie from Mudvayne!! Warwick bass guitars were meant for those two!!
Dustin Parton yeh Ryan is an absolute fuckin UNIT. You hear his instrumental trio, Soften The Glare?
Same. Add Mike Inez and Alice In Chains in this list for me.

"P-nut beat that thing" got to love the dot markers that light up
the adjustable nut is actually a damn good idea
+Iggy Tubmen Love it but May be too expensive
Rhoods Kevin i saw it listed for around 40 bucks, not that bad really when you compare it to a regular old non adjustable nut you can buy for 15-20 dollars though i guess it depends on the material its made out of.
But can not apply to other bass brand then? Could semd me a link please?
Rhoods Kevin what? i dont understand what you're saying.
just google just-a-nut III
Jus a Pnut
My Favorite Bass of all time. Been trying to save for this bass for a looong time.
Andy Irvine is THE BEST at these kinds of videos.
Best B string I've ever heard, including the one on my bass.
Modulus FB5 is the absolute best B string on a bass I’ve ever heard or played.
I love Warwick basses that I think they have the most wide variety of sounds.
I'm sold... I need this bass...
a piece of art!
I managed to get one for a steal at 3g's on amazon of all places...was used but unplayed. Amazing bass! Got a streamer stage II 4 string so now I'm pretty much set for life (almost a little depressing cause I love buying bass's)
Wow! That's amazing
Oh man... this might be my next bass. I've got the basslines in my streamer. Love that coil tapping is available on that gun bucket. Noice.
Trully wonderful instrument.
These instruments are obviously well thought out, with the Player always in mind.
At some point.. I will own this or some version of it. Always loved the specs and look.
Own a Thumb NT 5 but THIS is still my dream bass, so much GAS!!!
Damn that top wood is stunning!! =0
my dream bass... sigh
Push/Pull on the volume knob of this bass with the SD pre activates slap contour for which trim pots inside the pre/battery compartment can be adjusted
Andy Irvine = idiot
Awesome, awesome bass. Hope to get my hands on it someday.
By the way, does anyone else think Andy looks a lot like Hank from Breaking Bad?
Props on the playing, Andy!
so exotic much bass wow....
A cool Dark and aggressive tone
killer sound for a low A high string. my lakland skyline 5string doesn't sound so bright when i tune it down
6:45 Perfect metal tone! : D
that b string sounds wicked
Dope bass
The first guy is P-Nut from 311, he's demonstrating his signature owned bass.
Sweet A$$ friggin tones.
I wanna make sweet fancy love , down by the fire with that bass.
XD funniest comment i've seen in a while
I can't find the Bassline Active Hambucker pickup from the main sellers,

Someone knows how i can find this product?
P-Nut, Ryan Martinie, Fieldy
My three favorite bassist 😤
Fieldy doesn't use Warwick.
@@diaphanoux i know that, all i did was say who my three favorite bassist are lol
@@brandenvargo6933 I know. Kinda noticed that lol.
Hahaha 😂
nice
Does any Warwick 5 string have a 35" scale?
I've messed with these, they are choice! But holy crap..better play that powerball to buy one!
Beautiful. Really love the sound of that bass. But just a question. Why was it called p nut on that signature bass?
P-nut is the bass player for 311, this is his signature bass... he was the guy in the beginning of the video
Obviously, a view first basses of the p-nut signature III series do have illuminated dots, the nut is not made of brass, also the invisible fret Technologie is missing. This should be considered if buying a used one!
That bass looks so small on P-Nut and so big on Andy.
Can someone tell me what 'stringers' do in the neck? Add to tone, aesthetics, or what? :)
It removes deadspots i think
Laminating necks adds strength and stability so it won't shift as easily through drastic temperature changes.
andy irvine vs pnut
So, whose the poor sap I'm going to murder to get one?
Must be arthritic
huge fan of Andy he's the mandee
Nasty.
I thought my glasses were dirty the whole video
I thought there were holes running through the neck & fretboard!
These warwick videos would sound a lot better if they didn’t demo with brand new strings. They sound overly bright and buzzy in these. My streamer sounded like that for a week or two then mellowed out nicely.
Nah, the new strings sound the best.

You have done a wise replacement, because the mec pre has lack of a low end and a punch in comparison with aguilar, glockenklang, bartolini, emg and stock mm stingray ones.
But, on the other hand, the clarity of the mec pickups definately has that unique bite as well.

Only as a righty tho? No lefties!?
WHO IS THE FIRST BASS PLAYER?
That is P-nut, it's his signature :)
ok, wow thats his nick name thanks :)
How much does this even cost?
www.warwick.de/en/Warwick---Pricelists--Warwick-Masterbuilt.html
Lovely bass but my OCD won't allow an angled pickup. Sad but true.
Looks good. But I don't like its sound.
linksmumas congrats
Such an expensive bass and yet one of his LED's is out (3rd fret) unless there isn't one there...?
This is actually something P-Nut asked for. He feels that having an inlay on the 3rd feet is redundant. It's all personal I guess.
Lol did you really think after building a bass like this, they'd happen to just forget one :p
Certainly not, I simply thought it was missing or out. Turns out I was right; it was missing ;)
who downvoted this???
Lots of buzz
why does it sound like that, like metal hitting metal with no bass sound.
keep buying strats and shit while bass players buy these
Sam Rivers from Limp Bizkit use to introduce the LED neck before everyone else!
Mark King i believe
Alembic has been doing it since the 70s.
Bootsy did it in the 70s
Vomit inducing 🤢🤮
Slapping is so overrated
Great sounding bass...but leave the carbon neutral BS out
why?
