It felt wonderful to have your father back in Istanbul after so many years...The father's speech, especially at the end of the video, shows what a visionary and quality person he is.
incredible incredible video! Türkiye is a gem offering most of what you could ever want from hospitality, food and culture! Also adore your editing and your lil history lessons 🥹
Just returned from a month-long trip to Türkiye with my Istanbul-native husband and this makes me want to return so badly! Beautiful, and I'm glad you enjoyed. There is truly nowhere like it!
Ahhhh I was born in the US but my parents are from Turkey and seeing this just warmed my heart. I haven’t gone in 6 years and whenever I see someone post from Turkey it makes me miss it even more. I’m glad you and your family had a good time. And kudos to dad! Speaking great Turkish 😊
As a turkish girl, these girls made me really emotional. Life in Turkey is hard especially as a girl but we are educated, open-minded and bright people and i'm sure that days will be better in the future. you girls are rock!!
you’re recent uploads have been amazing! i feel really inspired whenever i watch them and i learn so much information about these counties and their culture through these videos! thanks for this content :,)
Thank you for introducing the country in the best possible way. I'm sure you had Turkish fans before this video and now they are more. It's nice to see you doing your job well.
You have a way with capturing us viewers’ attention!! This video was over before I knew it and was still left craving more history lessons from you and your family. The film/editing style was the icing on tha cake. Can’t wait to see more like this from you! xx
Excellent and wonderful explanations with a very different edit compared to other vlogs I have seen from Istanbul It was really wonderful and unique, my dear friend
I’ve been waiting for your Istanbul content literally for months, and finally you rocked it! It’s more than great to see and rediscover my own city through your perspective and angles! 🥹😍 Love,
I just discovered your channel and am reexperiencing so much of my own adventures now! I just went back to Istanbul this past May and took my mother with me. For a couple of people from "nowhere", Virginia, it was fun to see her awe and wonder at everything Istanbul had to offer: the history, culture, people, sights and sounds, and of course crossing the Bosphorus!!!!!!!!!!! You have a fantastic channel! May God bless your future travels! 😁
this video left me feeling really inspired. thanks for putting so much effort into everything you do. took a screenshot of the powerful words from your dad, some things we should all keep in mind. excited to see what comes next on your journey xxx love from germany
Omg this video is perfect! I really felt emotional when you said your parents have a history in Istanbul. Everything about this video is just amazing. I really liked when turkish girls talked about some issues we've been through in these days.
I can see where you get your curiosity and love of learning from! This video was special in a multitude of ways, what your dad said at the end really summed it up perfectly!
Wow what a beautiful family. I really loved your vlog. İt is so colourful and vivid and also so explanatory. As a turk I really enjoy when I see youtubers who come to Türkiye and show the real aspect of my country. I hope You reach millions soon :)
I also visited Turkiye Istanbul last year in October, so very beautiful city. So many historical places, beautiful weather, neat and clean every where, delicious food and peoples of Istanbul are very helpful and nice. I wish to be here again. Thank You.
Hey Elena! Glad you and your family enjoyed your trip in Istanbul! And thank you for the beautiful depiction of the city. Fun story: I was actually coming to the meetup and I was in Taksim but I unfortunately missed it because I confused the location as the Taksim square is huge lol. We even dm'd, but I mixed up the meetup place, and thought the meetup wasn't happening or something when I didn't see you, and ended up in a near art exhibition instead. I was so sad that I couldn't make it but it's wonderful to see that you met local people and chatted with them, wish I was there too but maybe in the future!
First time seeing your blog. It was very inspirational to see alot of your followers turn up. Quite a large group. I love Istanbul I went in June then October last year. A great place.
Elenaaa ❤️ i am sooo happy that you visited İstanbul, i wish i could join your meet in Taksim, i loved the video and your interest and care about the city, our history and your dad speaking Turkish😌 Its so cute that your mom and dad talked about marriage on Galata Tower without knowing there is a belief about who wents to Galata tower together will marry. So inspiring! Thank you for sharing 🌿🌞
I love seeing your bond with your sister. I’m close to my sister but we live in different countries. I can’t wait to be able to have experiences like this and get to travel with her
Waoww, I'm from Istanbul and now living in Germany since 9 months. It was really nice to watch out how your Istanbul trip was. And your dad's Turkish!!! Amazing... I'm so glad that you met new & local people there and talked to these girls. Trying to understand the dynamics of the society from local people melted my heart. I've been watching your vlogs since two weeks for the first time and so happy to know you. You are very inspiring, self-motivated and open minded girl. Wish you the best
I love watching your videos. I've always been interested in traveling and history and I love the fun history lessons in your videos!! You really depict the beauty of every place you visit so wonderfully!

I LOVE THE EDITING OF THIS VIDEO SO MUCH !!!! I adore that you also shared some history and culture beside the incredible stories of these women... :))
Turkey is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. I recommend you to visit not only Istanbul but also other cities. Everywhere is heaven. Everywhere is green, everywhere is blue and everything is spotlessly clean. I will go there once again.❤
I felt so sad that I missed your visit in İstanbul, I wish I had attented this lil meeting :( Also this was probably the best İstanbul video I have ever seen, thanks for giving everybody chance to see these capturing scenes of the city.
Istanbul is endlessly fascinating, however, like NYC is to the US, London is to the UK, Istanbul is to Turkey, those cities are not good representations of the country's they exist in. Absolutely enjoy each and every destination, they are all must see's however, make sure to keep things in perspective, go deeper and go further to explore a country, it's people and it's culture.
Not, it’s not - Turkey isn’t what Paris or London are for their respective countries - it’s just a too-crowded Metropol with too many migrants from everywhere: Essentially like Barcelona which its local culture is erased while the city itself has way too many crowded by tourists and “expats”, just with fewer refugees.
This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
This series is so fucking cool. Thank you, I'm moving to Tunis for the summer because of your coverage of it. So grateful to have found you on yt years ago!

When I was younger I was blessed to go to an International school. We had a lot of Turkish kids there as well. My second ever kiss was from a Turkish girl. Anyway this video was very beautiful Elena and only increased my desire.
