It has been brought to my attention that I left out what should have been the very first entry to the list: Super Live Robo from Liveman. This combo is very well distributed and is pretty well representative of its team and its time period. My official rating is 4 ☺️
My biggest gripe with the physical toys of Sentai is when there’s leftover pieces, like the Rhino carriage in Wild Tousai Dodeka King. So the Don brothers/Lupin & Pato/Shinken and Go-On are my faves
I actually like your rankings and agree most of your opinions of it. Here's my Top 10 Favourite Final Sentai Mecha Gattai with opinions: 1. ToraDora OniTaijin Kiwami: Probally one of the best combination from both the show and toy version 2. Engine-Oh G12: A unique way to combine all the Engines into one Super Mecha 3. Ultimate Daibouken: Another unique and clean combination 4. Super Dekaranger Robo: has one of the most badass combination ever 5. God King-Ohger: A messy combination yet still Godly indeed 6. Tenrai Senpujin: A very dynamic combination 7. TimeRobo Shadow Alpha/Beta: A Unique way of utilizing Shadow combining both TimeRobo Alpha/Beta 8. Samurai Ha-Oh: The Ultimate Cluster Combination ever 9. Great Icarus: Another classic one and the toy version that I owned when I was kid. 10. Super Live Robo: A classic one
I'm going crazy over the fact that they created a new channel where we can see all the Sentai versions that we haven't seen and so far, Jetman is my favorite.
@@Flabby913 It's called TokuShoutSu. They have a whole bunch of the old Super Sentai as well as the classic Kamen Rider and Ultraman. They even have Godzilla and martial arts movies.
Cluster Mechs like Engine Oh G12, Samurai Ha-Oh, Toradora Onitaijin Kiwami, and God King-Ohger are just the creators being like "Ya know what? Screw it, mash everything together it'll fit"
God King Ohger should have been number 1. It is the only one with 20 mechs and NO parts leftover. The design is very harmonious and we can clearly see and identify the arms, legs, body. And most importantly, it is the best embodiment of the All Gattai Robos (used all mechas, no parts left over, no riding or formation gimmick, can be separated into 3 different robos, every mech gets a decent presentation, etc.) The only mech that comes close to that is G12. But it only has 12 mechs.
I do appreciate Ultimate DaiZyujin in that it makes the Dragon Caesar armor look more natural as chariot armor/decoration than it did when it was just a combo of DaiZyujin and Dragon Caesar.
IMO the final Gattai that aren’t obvious that I would use for specific seasons is Carranger- Change Intersection robo Gingaman- Armor Shine Gingai Oh GoGoV- Armor Shine Victory Mars Gaoranger- Gao Icarus Another Foot and Arm Hurricanger- Tenrai Gourai-Senpuujin/ Tenrai Senpuujin w/ Revolver Mammoth Abaranger- Ooa Abaren Oh Boukenger- Dai Voyager/ Burning Legend Dai Voyager Shinkenger- Kyoryu Samurai Ha-Oh Goseiger- Ground Hyper Gosei Great Ninninger- HaOh Gekiatsu Dai Oh
Man ily, like ever since I got into Tokusatsu I’ve been attached to you. You deserve more than what you have, keep up the good work and stand proud, fellow Tokusatsu enjoyer!
Instead of Gao Icarus, for Gaorange you could’ve easily used Gao Icarus Another foot and Arm, especially bc it uses the 6th ranger Wolf/ hammerhead mecha
Ryusoulger/Dino Fury should get a flipping -1 for the nerve not to try to combine everything they got beside dinomigo to become the best ultrazord of all time hitting 0. Then the audacity to have their final attacks to be all their zords doing an energy blast became the most furstrating and top tier worst final attack in sentai of all time just ticked me off.
no matter what donbrothers will always be my favorite because it is one of the first all gattai robos that combines all the mechas that doesn't look like a clusterfuck or just a man standing or sitting on something
To me. My favorite is probably either the one from Shinkenger just due to how everything is used in such a crazy way or it's Zyuohger because first season bias and I really like how they all come together even if it’s just mostly stacked together blocks.
Super Galaxy Mega is somewhat groundbreaking to me as a child. Everything else I've watched back then are 5-piece combiners, so when I first saw that Galaxy Mega is just a transforming robo instead of a combiner I was a little checked out, and Delta Mega looked underwhelming since it's a relatively slim design. I want my sentai robos to be chonky and unwieldy, until one Christmas and I got both of them and they combine REALLY. FREAKING. SMOOTH. Delta Mega is slim because it's meant to be spread thin across Galaxy Mega, and with the main robo already having a bulky base you don't want to go overboard with the combiner but they kinda nailed it.
I just hate when they leave off huge parts, especially toq-oh rainbow only using the 1st car from each train. Kishiryuoh also bugs me, but at least someone can figure out a true all gattai on their own because of how the ryusoulger zord system works
Kyutamajin was kind of disappointing after they did RyuTei KyurenOh, because the latter fused all the elements a lot better and represented the machines a lot more, while the former feels like everyone giving Gigant Houou a power boost or some kind of zord battlizer.
Hmm I’m not sure how to rank it in the same context of this list, but as a robo itself it’s pretty creative in concept, albeit a bit messy in execution. It’s pretty creative though, so if I was rating it just as a robo, I think I’d give it a 3 🤔
now that i think about it, Max Oh Jah is more in the same territory as Dai Tanken and Gao Icaras, where it’s a combination of auxiliary mech and a bigger coming unit component
Another Series that does a special All team attack thing Persona: ALL-OUT ATTACK Which you can actually dress up as an universe Ranger Team Featherman which is Persona's in Universe Super Sentai parody or Reference
i'll always say that the final mech for Ryusoulger was the most disappointing mech of all time, just bc of how free the toy line is, ive seen crazy builds from that toy line just bc how it was designed and how much freedom it gives you to combine stuff, and yet we got the most boring combination ever for the final mech
The two showa ones doesn’t look that bad especially compare to how bland dairanger and ohranger final brick mecha looks. However, in term of scale to size Daijinryuu is the most threatening. The show actual final combination is legit just a body slam and extremely weird when it happen to one of the humanoid general. In term of final big combinations/attack, I feel like boukenger, go-onger, shinkenger, and kingohger are the only ones that are carefully planned to make sure everything gets combine without leaving a bunch of leftover parts. Leftover parts. That’s the worse part about the toy and show. Goseiger kind of get an exception because of the headers because that’s all the personality and soul of each robot lies. Even Grand liner and dekabase robo are technically not the final mecha, but is the brick of the season only hide the main mecha as a carrier traditionally in or out of its giant robot mode. It does look more threatening than it’s final mecha in a way. The most obvious for being the worst is Toqger where even in the show itself, it doesn’t look right with just the small main piece of each train attach to it. It doesn’t even look that tall and threatening scale wise because of its practical suit just like Zyuohger final combination. Gekiranger is also the laziest with all the zords just rush in like it’s gaoranger again. The villains didn’t get to combine with the main mecha very often as well. At least when kiramager does no cluster combination, it actually got 4 individual functional mecha at the end. Unlike hurricanger and abaranger, where it’s giant carrier zord just tag along.
I’m confused and maybe a little annoyed that my precious GaoKing didn’t get one of these and instead swapped out for GaoIcarus/Kentaurus it would’ve been cooler if GaoKing combined with GaoFalcon, which would become it’s wings and somehow give it a brand new head that’s more imposing
Oh!! I can’t believe I skipped it- it most definitely should have but I guess I forgot about it…it is a very good combo though especially for its time- so I’ll give it a 4 ☺️ Thank you for catching that!!

Cluster F Megazord, Ultrazord, whatever you wanna call it.
I do wonder how the stuntmans for g12, shinkenger final mecha and god king ohger felt, as the suits look heavy as hell
Don’t worry about them, they probably had to learn to deadlift 500 pounds before even attempting to take a single step in those suits.
I do appreciate Ultimate DaiZyujin in that it makes the Dragon Caesar armor look more natural as chariot armor/decoration than it did when it was just a combo of DaiZyujin and Dragon Caesar.
After watching the video fully, well I’ll just say, you changed my perspective on these robots, a lot.

for ToQger, Cho Cho ToQ-DaiOh is a better gattai robo than ToQ Rainbow
Out of curiosity, when you made this tier list, were you considering either the on-screen costume functionality or the functionality of the toys?
Honestly it was mainly the onscreen appearance, with the toys influencing my analysis of the combination mechanics mainly!
Engine oh g12. And ultimate daibouken probably are my fav of these "ultrazords" mode
Boonboomger robo better be fire with its final form
Wait why are final gattai robo are getting weaker with each passing season?
I wonder what kind of final gattai Boonboomger would have knowing that all of the limbs for Byun Byun Mach Robo can be detachable
