Good video, but when you unzip bag and flip it inside out, make sure that you zip bag back up. If you are using a washer with a center agitator it can damage zipper if its left unzipped during wash. make sure any zippered vents are also zipped shut.
I also throw in a very diluted cap of fabric softener.
Dry on low heat with tennis balls for no more then 20 minutes.
Let sleeping bag air dry for 48 hours before rolling up for storage.

That is an awesome idea. One thing I never done is using fabric softener on sleeping bag.
Also thanks for clarifying and offering other solutions to wash and dry sleeping bag.
      Happy Trail

To be honest, I do not have an answer to this question. It is typical USA washing machine.

What are the wool balls for?

Hello. The wool ball or tennis ball in the dryer to help evenly redistribute the down in a sleeping bag. Without that, all the feathers will be in one big chunk.

@@EdwardsYAdventure ..thank you! That if it's just polyester?

@@sweetbeep This will apply to both Synthetic (Polyester) and Goose Down sleeping bag. From my experience, the drying part of the goose down sleeping bag took longer to dry. Once it is evenly distribute the sleeping bag material, I will air dry for few more day indoor before I store them. This avoids any strange smell.
