Rod Hull's Emu on Jim'll Fix It - Xmas 1976

I was 12 when I wrote in and I was 14 when they
invited me on the show. I knew when I first got in
touch with the BBC that the only way I would ever
stand a chance of appearing on the show would
be if I asked Jim to Fix It for me to do something easy,
hence my request to attack Rod Hull's Emu!
This episode was broadcast Christmas Day 1976
the only other guest of note was John Inman.
Looking back now with all the Savile abuse claims
this all seems like such a naive and innocent time.
