Your Traveler's Journal looks awesome and so well documented. I love the way you are organized, congratulations. Traveling in Europe by train with your friends must have been really enjoyable despite things that went wrong but that, later, happen to be good memories. I am sorry you had to face the French trains strike... I am French, I live in France (in Brittany) and I have to say that I got... used to it... Due to a major train strike when I went to Vienna, I had to modify my return going through Amsterdam, then Toulouse, then Rennes and have my husband pick me up there... Not exactly the quickest way to come back home but it makes it up for some funny memories !! Back to Travel Journaling, as I travel by myself relatively often in Europe and with my family to USA (my husband is American) or to South Africa, I always keep the first insert of my journal with check lists, and one or two other ones to journal during or after our trips using the same technique than yours, except I am way less organized than you for the items I carry with me !! By the way, you live in a beautiful country 😉 Do you have, in Norway, stationnary stores that sell their products on line?
I love this video. I’m experimenting with a different style of memory keeping this year. So I’m always on the lookout for inspirations and ideas to try. 😃
I just bought my first Traveler’s Notebook to document my recent trip to Europe. Thanks for the beautiful inspiration.

I'm so glad I found your video! These spreads are so beautiful and inspiring. And I really enjoyed listening to your travel stories of this trip. Subscribed!
Watching this in 2021 and feeling so glad you had such a lovely time before all hell broke loose in the world 😆🤦🏻♀️ Beautiful spreads!! Hope you get to do a whole lot more of these now that life is slowly coming back to normal🙏🏻🎉📔
Thiiiiis! This is what I've been doing not knowing that this whole travel and journal thing was a thing. Thank you! I now feel less lonely. I'm now inspired to include my journaling in my videos (just starting out tho 😅). Great vid by the way. New sub here. 😊💕
@@mochibujo Lol I lived in a little suburb outside of paris, and it was actually kind of rare that our particular trains were cancelled. We only went to Paris on the weekends. I was super introverted so I was always wandering off by myself which was nice. :)
@@TheUltimateScorpio it sounds like a dream, really! I hope you had fun there. I've never been to Paris, but I'd like to go sometime. Everyone just tells me it's overrated, but I still kind of feel like it's worth the trip just to see it haha!
mochibujo that’s super sweet thank you! I mean the school I went to was very restrictive so unfortunately I wasn’t able to explore as much as I’d have wanted to but I’lm still happy that I was able to go :). And I think everywhere has its beauty and I would literally love to travel anywhere in the world! I think we live on a beautiful planet with breathtaking places and eclectic experiences :). Paris is beautiful and I would like to go back one day. I hope you get the opportunity as well :).
Love this. I’m waiting for my new travellers journal to arrive and can’t wait to fill it up with my journey. Your journal is so aesthetically pleasing:)
I really like your travel journal style! So many people who add collected ephemera make their spreads too cluttered. I see you only add the pieces that help you tell the story instead of distracting from it, and you put everything together in a visually pleasing way. You've found a certain balance between written journaling and visual journaling.
Hi Lovely Hedda ❤ Are you still travel journalling in 2024? If so, I'd looove to see more videos about it (if you love making those of course)! I've recently gotten into travel journalling myself, and I've always adored your journal style. Your travel journal looks as amazing as always! 🥺🩷
I do it in my bullet journal these days! My current bujo is the same format as this traveler’s notebook, so I’ve used the TN leather cover and pockets around my notebook, and it’s worked really well. The spreads I’ve made have been very low effort, I’ve mostly “just” glued in museum tickets, cut-outs from brochures, etc. and written about my experiences. So nothing super interesting, I’m afraid😅 But it’s definitely fun to have for myself!❤️
Hey I love your journalling videos! I was wondering, if you've Been to Brussels and took a walking tour, do you speak french? 🤔 I'm from Montréal, Canada and Norway is part of my travel bucket list🤗🤗
this is so lovely. ive started doing daily journaling in a similar scrapbook style and its so satisfying to have a place to put all the ephemera i collect lol also the interrail pass sounds perfect for an adventure, i wish we had something like that in america. maybe ill just have to go to europe and see it myself :)
Teddy McKrell thank you!❤️ Yes, the scrapbook style really gives you a place to keep all the ephemera. Sadly, America’s train system isn’t as well developed as Europe’s, and the US is also so much bigger😵 If you do decide to go to Europe, remember to get the Eurail ticket, which is the interrail ticket for non-Europe citizens ☺️
Where would you recommend for stationary in London (recently moved)? I have a traveller's notebook but I'm looking to adapt it to start bullet journalling!
That’s so exciting!🤩🤩🤩 London Graphic Center is great!! It’s by Seven Dials, so Choosing Keeping is also nearby, as well as MUJI ☺️ Oh and 26 Grains is a lovely place to get some porridge if you’re into that 🥰 That’s probably my top recommendation for London, but there is lots of great stuff all around. Class Art, Paperchase, the Moleskine Store, etc ☺️
@@mochibujo Managed to make it to London Graphic Center, Paperchase and Muji. I LOVE London Graphic Center!!! Made it to 26 Grains too, which was beautiful, but with 30 degrees heat I didn't stop for porridge :) Can't wait to get started!
Oh I’m so happy you liked London Graphic Center! I was there in January, and I wanted to buy everything hahah! Oof yeah I can see how porridge isn’t the best idea in such warm weather 😂
I just stumbled upon your channel and have been going through lots of your videos. I really like the feel/ vibe. Very calming. Thanks very much for sharing these. I hope you don’t mind me asking, how do you record your videos (camera, tripod/ stand/ mic)? I’d like to record some sketching, and I really don’t know where to start. Anything you can share will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
Just watched this video and Wow you surely had an Awesome Trip! I loved everything you did😊Wanted to ask you where you got that first zipper case with cats on it? At least I think it is cats lol. Someday I hope to be able to travel and I am going to order me one of those little pocket printers too. Thank You so much for the inspiring videos!!
Thank you so much Susan! I got the cat pouch at a store/gallery in Tokyo called FewMany. The artist is Konatsu, you can find them if you search for @konatsu_tunacan on Instagram ☺️
Well, any notebook can become a travel journal, so that’s entirely up to you, and I’m sure you can find some local shops that sell cheaper notebooks ☺️ If you meant Traveler’s Notebooks, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a leather one for less than $30, unfortunately :/ But I also haven’t looked that hard, so I’m sure there’s hope!😅 I use Traveler’s Notebooks from both Traveler’s Company and Rustico ☺️

The best travel jouraling video I've seen so far!!! Good idea about using brochures and such instead of taking a photo sticker macine!
Can you come here again. I am so happy we have this video, because now it will be forever on the internet XD

Thanks! I’m using a 0.38 Muji gel pen to write with, and a Tombow Fudenosuke (sometimes Pentel sign pen) for hand lettering ☺️
