- Shark expert Paul de Gelder dove into the ocean where a great white shark claimed another victim. The giant maneater was filmed in a small California coastal town where three divers have been killed in 22 months. The daring encounter is on "Shark Week," hosted by John Cena, airing on Discovery. De Gelder also went back to the site of his shark attack in Sydney, Australia. Inside Edition's Ann Mercogliano has more.

Biting/eating humans is not on a sharks food agenda. Sharks usually mistake the movements of people for other fishes.
Serial means a series of events, killing is when something dies, therefore the definition is true a shark is a serial killer because it kills a series of species to survive.
But the same can be said about any carnivore

I live and surf in Southern California and in the last 5 years alone I have seen more white sharks than I did in my first 30 years of surfing. Breaches, fins and even seeming them from the bluffs is a common occurrence nowadays.

Actually, there was a serial killer shark a long time ago. The Matawan Man Eater, it terrorized the Jersey Shore for 12 days in 1916, killing four people and wounding another.
Possibly, but we can’t prove that the one that attacked people in the creek was the same shark that got two victims at the beaches. It could’ve just been a coincidence, 1 or 2 sharks attacking at the beaches and then 1 in the creek.
Just like how some people conjectured that the fatal attacks (and full consumption) of Cameron Bayes and Jevan Wright was the same shark, as they happened on the 24th and then 25th of September, off South Australia in 2000. Both were attacked by a 16 ft white. Most likely it’s just a coincidence.
