One thing i notice a lot of people do is train concealment carry from a shooting position. Remember guys, you are never in a shooting position in real life, and conceal carry (if the times comes) you will not be in a shooting position, with the perfect body alignment and foot position. Train your hand being on different positions, your body, your foot... You might have something in your hand prior, you might be leaning on a counter at a store, sitting down on a chair and many others scenarios. Also, implement movement.
You’re in a shooting position because you’ve already been made aware of pre-attack indicators and being prepared. In real life, nobody just runs up on you to gun you down. It’s more likely that they want your material items, not your life, so it isn’t worth the risk of drawing from the drop for especially in a non ideal position.
@@amic7785 I'm from Brazil, so believe me when i say this, people run up to you and take your life, people do assassinate you. Even more if you are a police officer. Ive seen ton, sometimes there is no time to get into a shooting position.

I think one reason I like appendix carry is the possibility to get to my gun with both hands especially in a clinch scenario. That being said that advantage is somehow evened out when you carry a knife that you can get to with your weak hand. I think you should simply be able to apply a lot of damage with both hands.
Practicing with the clothes you wear is so important. I'm a skinny guy not very muscular but I've always wore looser clothes. I'm someone who likes to wear alot of layers even in the summer I have a shirt and a under shirt. But it definitely took me awhile to get comfortable with clearing two shirts and a hoodie in the winter time. I just practiced at home with a laser trainer. By no means am I a expert but I'm definitely more comfortable than a few years ago and have a method to my draw that's repeatable.

It’s not comfortable if you drive a lot or if you fall on it. Numerous people have spinal injuries from carrying small of the back. I did carry 4 o’clock for 8 yrs but transitioned to appendix. Only time I dislike it is when I am shooting prone. Also from the small of the back is going to be the slowest position to draw from. To each their own.
