  • This timelapse shows Hurricane Fiona gaining strength as it formed on September 15, before slamming into Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Turks and Caicos. The storm, which is now a Category 4 hurricane, left devastation in its wake after dropping 30 inches of rain in parts of Puerto Rico and causing mudslides in the Dominican Republic.
