O Lord, Hear My Prayer (a Taize chant)

Taize is a non-denominational Christian community in Eastern France, that attracts people from all over the world. People, especially the young, are attracted to the simple, prayerful worship, consisting of reading a Bible passage in several different languages, singing their prayerful Biblical chants, and a time of silence for meditation or prayer. It's where I met my wife, Catherine, on what is called the 'Field of Silence'. We could never have imagined that we would end up getting married and leading Joan of Arc pilgrimages.

Lovely. My favorite prayer from Taize. I can’t tell you how many times I sing this song because that’s all I’ve got in me. Thank you for introducing me to it many years ago.
Our prayers don’t have to be fancy; they just have to be heartfelt.
