I choose the au where after genocide run there is a chance to save chara and give her a body, possibly saving asriel too with the soul of a human who was almost dead anyway, and maybe even bring back Gaster, after all, when theres a way in, there will be a way out.

Yep!
Not just a game, the engine on which Undertale runs is sandboxed, which means any program do not have acces to any files outside of said program, the program must ask you to choose file to "load"/"save to" to get acces there.
Sadly the comic got cancelled beginning this year.
Thats why we have no undervirus fangame :)

The comic just stopped a month ago. I think there's enough to make one more part but the creator of the comic isn't 100% sure if they're going to end it yet. It's been on break for a month now and all we can do is support the creator and respect what they want.

For example, by 3:56 the only major differences we see is that this version Delays conciousness until the TPE instead of the end of the first flowey encounter, which is not a big mod, since it only cancels the narration and as such only requires the flashbacks to be subconscious and not voluntary, and that non-possesive movement is possible. They appear to mantain politeness and general characteristics. mainchara talks, which happens, and truechara shows behaviour consistent with a strange mix of LV3 and kill 0, which is not a strech. at 9:04 it kinda falls apart but hey. Let us attempt to forget for a minute.
