I would think they limited the touch options to stop unintentional touching when asleep. Double tapping would be less of an accident then only tapping once.

Got them a few days ago and returned today. They’re nice but not worth the price . Most of the white noise options I don’t think as very good. The sleep tracking is useless. The comfort is great. You can sleep on your side with them in no problem. Wife snores and still could hear her deep sounding snores. I really wanted to like them. Just nowhere near justifying the price. I’ve had better luck with molding earplugs that cost $15. Having the white noise was a big selling point and the great batter life.
I also have the 1MORE sleep buds too. Just as comfortable but no wings so they don’t stay in. But batteyr life is awful in comparison to the Soundcore. The fall out every night

Surprisingly good. But just know since they are sleep buds using the controls isn’t easy. They don’t want you to do accidental touches when sleeping so they make there touch on the buds not sensitive at all.

No earbuds on the market are good for sleeping. Side sleeping with earbuds is a no go for even the smallest one.
      But.....
I have found my solution for sleeping and being comfortable side sleeping and listening to white noise for the entire night....SleepPhones! Got them 4 months ago and they have provided some of the best sleep I've had in years. My wife snores....loudly. I can block her out with white noise. Then I can block out the morning sun by simply pulling them over my eyes. They last all night I can side sleep with no problem. They are great. Got them at Amazon. The

Maybe the double lining is that because your sleeping with them it gives the eartips extra layer to both not slip out during sleep... and tightness so it won't cram further into your ear.

I understand the lack of single tap and tap&hold since those 2 are possible to be triggered while asleep, but a triple tap would've been nice.
And while yes the lack of black color option is understandable (easier to look for in the dark), I would've loved a black version of these.
I got mine for $80 and I'm excited to try it for ASMR videos. The 6 hour battery is okay since I'm definitely fast asleep by the time it dies. I just hope the passive noise cancellation is good enough for me.

From habit I am now unable to sleep without my earbuds in. I have the Life 2 ANC buds from soundcore. Due to their size it is uncomfortable to side sleep unless you are only using the exposed ear.
The price for the headphones I own and the ones listed on this video have come down to a very reasonable level. I've tried so many different brands, soundcore has been phenomenal. Each headphone comes with a warranty and they will replace them no questions asked brand new.

You have obviously never actually tried to sleep in these A10.
The earbuds actually disconnect completely from the phone / app when in sleep mode meaning that the volume button on the phone doesn't work. This means you're at the complete mercy of the smart volume in the sleep sounds which will increase and decrease without warning forcing you into a hurricane of rain noise that you cannot turn down!

I live in a loud city at night and sleeping buds would indeed be a good thing, but i feel 2 things missing here. 1. Case with Ultra-violet light to remove bacteria, since you'll be spending 8 hours straight with them. 2. The case itself could have microphones that help with ANC and sync up with the earbuds since the earbuds don't have space for mics.

    • @teolcd
      @teolcd 10 месяцев назад +1

ANC requires high freq sampling to be near realtime, not sure if it's ideal when it's on the case instead of earbuds.

I agree with Gamesky. I had mine for 3 days and you won’t be impressed by the blocking of noises. It’s about the white noise or music you play through the buds working together.

    • @MrMagicFreedom

True, but the Soundcore Sleep A10s are really tiny and you get sleep on the side without the buds hurting your ears. Impossible with the Apple ones. Nice add-on, the A10s will notice you fell asleep, stopping the music, switching off Bluetooth and switching to sleep mode. Impossible with apple too. Plus: they last a LOT longer than expected. I use them for a month now daily and had to charge the case once.
