Been waiting for 2 months for the local stores to sell it. Just today I bought it and it's absolutely amazing, with in-ear plus ear hook, exactly what I need. Tbh there aren't much options with that combination anymore. And it's very comfortable to wear. The sound quality is very great given the price tag. Totally worth it imo.
Just got the X20. Did a 2 hour workout today and they were perfect. Solid fit, excellent customized sound, very good ANC, comfortable. I've owned lots of earbuds and for my use listening to podcasts during exercise these are by far the best so far. Price/performance/features combo is 1st rate.
Man just here to say thank you very much! I bought the SoundCore X20 after watch your review and I could not be more happy! This is far away the best the I could for this price! This is absolutely brilliant
Great review dude,i had the x10 for 18months until one of them eventually died. I couldn't fault them, for the price i paid they were great for comfort in the gym. Will be definitely upgrading to the x20,wont even look at other brands for a better price
I’ve recently bought both (the X20s are on sale at the moment) and so far, I’m leaning to the X20s here! 🤔 But again, this review certainly helped a lot! 😁
With so many options out there and after several days breaking my head on what would be the best earbuds for me, this review simply solved all my questions. Thanks for the time spent, really useful.
I just found your channel, man I must say you're the best reviewer! Well done for reviewing them against other earbuds within this category and great work with the spreadsheets. Thank you so much!
I had the X10 and was a bit bummed about the X20 not having the rotating earhook to store them in a pill-shaped case, until I got them in hand... they are MUCH easier to insert into and hook around the ears, thanks to the earhooks being sturdier, plus putting them away is now also much easier. As for the tech and sound quality, I'm not super sure that they're that much better than the X10, but using the EQ to bump the lowest frequency all the way up and having a minor u shape for the rest of the spectrum gave me a nicely visceral bass without bleeding much into the vocal range, so I was very pleased, along with the customizable controls.
Great thorough review as usual! I loved my X10's but one of the earbud drivers snapped off. I was hesitant to buy x20's but glad I did as they sound great. Hopefully they hold up better to Mountain Biking. Also, all my buds from every brand eventually fail to make good contact with the charging pins in the cases and won't charge reliably. Hopefully this is fixed also.
quick yt search, landed on your video, saw your comment regarding the x20s, helped my select them for purchase. thanks for the great review with the granular test criteria, great stuff!
Fantastic review, Thank you! Loved how quickly you go between the various data points, no time wasted. On the feature list - multi-point connectivity at this price point alone is enough for me to get a pair (52$ on Aliexpress after some coupon code, VERY cheap compared to the alternatives)
Got a pair yesterday, used today at the gym and it kept disconnecting. But I didn't update the firmware yet on the app. Now it's updated and working great so far. Really love the 3d Sound! Save some money over Bose!
Hi @Picky Audio, great reviews !!! Would you look at the Skullcandy Action series also ? They have some nice stuff. I am undecided between the Push ANC Active and the Soundcore X20.
I really enjoyed anker products, but my aerofit pro was stolen, now I'll try this x20, with better sound quality and ANC because it is an in-ear type, nice review bro
Wow I appreciate you sharing the spreadsheet, along with no ads/sponsors and very concise scripting and editing. Quality video! I'm contemplating getting the X20s vs the Jabra 8s, earbuds usually never fit my ear well, would you say the extra rubber holder justifies the slighty worse sound quality? And have you tried foam ear tips? I found that with my EarFun Free Pro 3s the foamy ear tips make them fit much more snug and the seal is pretty permanent vs silicone/rubber tips.
I'm glad you found it helpful! Yea I say give the X20 a go they still sound solid. I have not tried foam ear tips. Just make sure they are not too deep as they might not fit in the case
Right now im using tje liberty 4nc and love the sound, but still the fit is a little janky for me having to adjust the frequently. I did have the x10 and wasn't impressed, I did have to adjust them alot. Sound was ok. But after all the great feedback I'm hearing on the x20 I just purchased them and will have them today. I love punchy base and loud volume, my workouts are pretty vigorous so I'm sure these will be my new go too.
@@Bryaan6612 I have both and use them for different purposes. I prefer the controls on the 4NC, but the sport X20 are WAY more comfortable. Aside from not having the triple tap and wireless charging (the case is pretty big), these are very similar to the 4NC, even with sound and ANC. The 4NC would hurt my ears after a while, but the Sport X20 are comfortable all day for me.
I got the x20 for work based on this video, and they're great! The only issue is even with the "wind noise reduction" toggled off, they still disable transparency if/when there are loud noises around you! This is great for some people to prevent hearing damage, but for me there are regular peaks of loud noises when I'm working on stuff such as banging or moving a ladder! This makes them incredibly frustrating while working because the transparency is constantly being turned off! Do you have any solutions for this, or do you know if the Jabras (or others on this list) do the same thing? I also have the beats studio buds+ and they also do this! Although with them it's slightly less annoying because the transparency doesn't stay off as long as these do! Lol
Thank you for a proper review on these! After watching I decided to buy a pair for myself, I need a pair of ear buds that are suitable for when I go biking or working out.
How do you think the Beats Fit Pro stack up to the Pixel Buds Pro for running in terms of sound importantly transparency? ANC/call quality and whatever other features don't interest me. These 2 buds are really cheap now.
Its a shame with the mono mode, but most RUclips videos tune their audio so sound comes out the same on both drivers, right? I usually use one bud for RUclips watching. Do u know if theres another way to make the buds go mono mode?
Hey Picky I had these for 3 days now and was blown away but now suddenly they are only playing at half the volume…any idea how to fix this problem and is it common?
Interesting. Here are some potential fixes. Make sure there is no ear wax blocking the drivers. Try restarting your phone. If that doesn't work try a factory reset of the buds. The manual should explain how to do that. Let me know how you go
@@pickyaudio thanks buddy the reset worked and I must admit they are incredible in every way! They are superior to my favourite Beats fit pro in battery life and Metal sounds so much better with the X20. Noise cancellation is also superior plus fit and comfort is 10/10!
