the 8 active has the worst wind noise of any ear bud i have ever used, i bought for cycling and even at low speed its like im in a cyclone, unusable for cycling, or even walking on a midly windy day. great for housework only.
@@leekellehern7 yes of course i did that. It does very very little if anything. Maybe it takes it from a cat 3 hurricane to a cat 2.9. I really think the testers are testing "active" by testing indoors at gym etc. Wind noise for the jabra's is a common complaint found if google - and considering how bad the wind noise is, i am surprised review sites for best earbuds for active havent reported on even with running etc, as any wind past the mic's and they are a disaster. Sans wind - they are great. Super comfy, good sound, love the physical button press vs touch, great battery life for buds and case, great price point vs something like say sony wh - if it wasnt for the wind noise they would be perfect for active users. I use them heaps doing housework and manual work indoors - brilliant. And i've been hammering them daily for awhile now, they are going great. Hopefully jabra sort the wind one day (could be symptom of all those mic's they have).
I like to have a fan in my face when I'm on the computer on my desk and if I have ANC on the airflow creates some horrible windy noise but when I turn it off to nothing it sounds much better, weird how the noise canceling literally creates some distortion idk
Pro 2 have stronger ANC and much better transparency. Call quality and customisation goes to the Ear. IF you're in the apple ecosystem though the Pro 2 are so good.
