That is so smart, I thought about changing to a hydraulic table so I can slide a bit under my table if I need to lie on my back fully, or buying a separate adjustable small table, but then I thought why not looking for something that is attached to the chair since I make micro movement alot. Using the right keyword when searching is key, I was searching for "addon table for gaming chair" without having any vision how it would look like and it brought me here.
i use this exact same setup it's so comfortable i dont get why i was playing at a desk for so long. dxracer used to produce a keyboard tray and mouse pad armrest years ago and i was lucky enough to get them. it's too bad they stopped making them, if they ever break on me i'm going to have to make something like you have here :D

Very nice !! I'm probably going to have to make something like this for my setup once I get my chair. I'd put some padding on the arm rest for the mouse and like Davide said, smooth out the edges or maybe some padding on the corners so kids or dogs dont hit sharp corners. Improvement .. CUP HOLDER !!!! LOL
If only there was some way to mount the board to the chair on a swivel so you can just push it out of the way instead of having to set it down somewhere.

Perfect solution to my issue! I've dislike being restricted to facing forward and oriented only how my desk dictates, and this is an amazing solution to that. But if I end up making this, I would definitely smoothe out the edges and round it off, along with placing a nicely sized mouse pad region, just so I wouldn't run out of room. Also, just a personal thing, but a battery pack on the underside for wireless mouse charging in-game, and maybe a little rgb.
My high ass wills forget that its in front of me and fold 😂😂😂
