The logic still baffles me: if you're a content creator for a game, why would you take a sponsorship deal from a boosting service, that is, a company whose business model is predicated on people not playing the game you yourself are playing and making a living off of?

I personally think Warframe Dev (DE) must scrap this "Endless Mission" type entirely and add a max for example 5-6 hours run and one you reach it will ask the player to extract no matter what!

As someone who isn't as engaged with the Warframe community this is honestly an eye opener. I need to be more careful from here on.
@@slavicodysseydon't worry yourself too much, OreOscar did something stupid. Examples like Sabuchi and the endurance run bans can be scary but one has already been undone and I expect the other to have the same once knowledge of what happened circles around inside DE. DE has been very communicative with the community and they usually fix problems when they pop up like this and they are made aware.
in fact after reading the response they sent OreOscar in the video (the one he censored with mcdonalds) a very generous reduction of his ban to 1 year and were very understanding of his predicament with his contract, even understanding the videos have to be left up for a year by saying they will just need to make sure the videos are gone by the unban date (at least that was how I read it). Which for me puts OreOscar's video in a new light considering they got that and still made the video what it was.

His claim is that boosting is commonplace in the community FPS games so he didnt think anything of it. That's a stretch at best.
He also didnt understand that warframe market is, ironically, not a market and is merely a listing service. No transactions actually occur there to make it a secondary market.
He also presented a false dichotomy that the campaign he's starting will either expose DE and force them to ban 90% of the playerbase or get his ban overturned and essentially void the EULA. I presented a likely 3rd option: his campaign gets ignored and fades from the news cycle within a week to at most a month when new content drops. His year long ban then stays put.
I hope that after the video he put out, DE reverts the very generous offer of only a one year ban back to permanent.

@@themonkeys96 He was originally given a permanent ban. But after crying to DE about it they decided to ease up and only make it a one year ban. Only after that did he go unhinged and make the 40 minute pitty party video. When DE was willing to work with him and reduced it to a year, and he still drags them through the mud along with everyone he had an opinion about, good riddance. He deserves the permanent ban after that video.

Which seems ironic since one of his main complaints was the enforcement is up to mods' discretion and it was a mod's discretion that lowered his ban. But at this point, DE's gotten their point across. Don't promote boosting. And simply not moving the ban at all will discourage these type of reactions.
Ironically, I think a similar case can be made for the creator that got suspensions due to his endurance runs wigging out the auto cheat detection. Yeah, I think it's iffy that DE's system triggered on his runs and that absolutely needs to be adressed, but don't spam literally every tweet the main account makes. I honestly don't blame Reb for blocking him.
In both these cases, they got their answer, didn't like it, and then went out of their way to complain. Increasing the punishment won't convince them.

I can tell you right now, the guy kept mentioning "the sponsor" in the video without actually revealing who this sponsor was, that was kind of suspicious but I didn't care enough to double check because it was a random video that RUclips recommended to me, made by a random guy playing a video game I don't play anymore. Clicked off the video by the time he mentioned the rule34 community because that's just bullshit.
But then I saw this video and boom turns out the sponsor is a ToS-violating service. Whoop dee fucking doo. You play with fire you get burned.
And I have no idea if he was intentionally acting like a moron or not, but wondering if an addon to read twitch chat while playing the game is bannable due to it being "3rd party", is the most bizarre braindead take I've seen this week. He's either a god damn moron or intellectually dishonest.

I still have no clue as to how or the where it got wrong. To be angel's advocate & looping your video for analysis while I as doing IRL things, there a lot of dumb stuff with the consistency of the automated flagging system & how I think that the neglect to not update it for endless missions is part to blame & a big contributor.
Now being the devil's advocate, the DE staff blocking you, be it if you were trying to outreach to them in a professional manner or if there was some degree of animosity- being blocked by the people you play the game to improve the experience when you're not a bug-tester- a normal player like you, like Sab, like me- would have a 0.01% chance of success it gets fixed & your being false-flagged is the fault of the neglected maintenance of the game.
That aside, you were almost the world's first 100-hr solo runner, had you continued your astonishing 95.5 Mag run. Mad props, 100%. I do intend to observe these events in real time & will closely look at whatever the course of time will be, wherever it lands, to see this get closure. Watching Sab has me be a Mesa main. @@Najimatuyo_Datsukenita Yeah I sadly didn't have the conversations on pablos public discord about the suspensions then the whole conversation being deleted so I couldn't inc that as there wasn't SS's I didn't expect for that to happen as at the time I was talking with pablo in pms as well.
So everything you see besides the pm with pablo take place after the fact. Then when Reb blocked me and steve/pablo ignored my post on twitter I went on the posting spree. I more or less changed how I approached the situation every time I hit a road block as otherwise its insanity trying to do the same thing expecting different results.

I saw his first video promoting when it came out, and thought it was sus as hell, and his entire comment section kept warning him against it, and he would say stuff like “oh, thanks for telling me guys, I’ll stop this”. Then on his next video he’ll just say in the sponsor segment “we listened to your feedback and so we’ve adjusted the prices a little bit.” And then he promoted them 4 more times, the guy had it coming

Man I used to do endurance runs before I decided to make videos, Baker's situation is not new, sad that still happens to this day, also if you're going to talk about something, make sure you know about that something first and when you clic "Agree" or "Accept" or whatever variation when it comes to License Agreements, you are AGREEING TO IT, don't matter if you read it or not, and the first thing you do before you even shoot a bullet in 99% of games these days, is clicking on said License Agreement, geez :D

One of the main reasons why I still play warframe to this day is the content creators on warframe, either from their useful build videos because my brain is the size of a peanut or the bad shit insane side of it where you all make humorous jokes to the games expense with stupid funny builds or just with new updates the games have.

@@nahfrfrman120 You need to learn that EULAs like Warframe exists everywhere. RUclips. Twitter. Any online games. Steam. Facebook. TikTok. EVERY SINGLE ONE of them makes sure 100% of their users are bannable. You can be banned from RUclips for using a third-party service like Firefox, for instance.
They're not there to have every single points be enforced to the letter. They're used as a wide net legal protection in case of legal retribution from the user.
