Or, here's a thought, don't stand in the line of fire of the strongest single attack in the game? Pea brain players can't manage to build a frame for survivability without shield gating Yes, overguard is weak in it's current state. I believe they should just make it be affected by damage reduction (including armor) and it'd be great.
The Oberon take reminds me of how easy to farm he used to be, then I stopped playing for a few years, railjack came out and DE sent him to the shadow realm of farms.
Don't forget Ash, they sent Ash there too. At least Manic's were thematic; hunt an assassin, get an assassin frame. Where the heck is the connection between Ash and Railjack Defence?!
@@Alpha.Phenix for ash it was actually a buff tbh being moved to RJ. took us 3 runs for a buddy to get him and since its RJ survival, you will get an insane amount of intrinsic points for your mastery rank.
Yeah I'd argue the Ash change was for the better, mostly because unless you were an endurance runner back in the day, you wouldn't run into Manics that frequently, I think I only ever got 1 Ash part from manics back in the day.
@@TheMrCtoer I did farm my ash from maniacs back in the day and it almost made me quit that trash game, if it wasnt for some average luck getting the parts.
Railjack isn't so bad, it's just that you need to build it and invest a bit of time into it. Even building the thing is extremely cheap, the only material that might take some time is Carbides/Cubic Diodes. Or just join a Veil Proxima crew and get the best mods and ship parts possible in 2 runs.
other hot take: Reaching level cap should spawn an invincible enemy that grabs all players and drags them to extraction while lecturing them on the virtues of moderation and the joys of other activities such as reading and going outside.
If the player plays for more than an hour, a ghostly enemy starts following them and crashes the game to desktop (or to dashboard on console) if it touches them. It is immune to CC effects and can touch the player through the void.
The fact that companions can permanently die so easily severely undermines their help. A way to revive them from death like the Panzer Vulpapyla should be built into every single companion.
THIS! i always wondered why would they give you companions if it is rather hard to keep them alive SP+ and then they're gone for good for the rest of the duration if not panzer or some healing ability
@@breakthecode4634 yeah i agree with you, but that still requires me to play something specific. If I want to play a build, that doesn't keep my companion alive, i still have to choose panzer, because it just is pretty annoying to play without vakuum, enemy radar, etc., especially in higher lvl content
Panzer's aurvivability is unique to teh vulpaphyla so giving it to all companion would be a bad idea. What could work is What venari has, after some time it revives itself without you having to lift a finger. But due to companion AI not being, intelligent at all, your companion would probably go jump off a building or something.
Those would literally be bigger than the orowyrm by several time’s literally it’s head alone would be bigger XD! Though I do think Deimos needs an infested world boss on its surface! perhaps infested liches as kaijus instead so we don’t get tired of the same system as the previous two? I think it’d be better that way imo.
I liked when liches invaded/occupied multiple planets, actually made them somewhat, key word “somewhat”, connected with the over all system. But now that they stick to their starting planets like glue, it makes it feel far more chore-like to kill them
100%. It used to feel like a rival was taking over the system and slowly getting stronger. Now it's very routine and systematic and doesn't feel organic anymore.
@@jazzyj7834 I think a 'mixture' would work well, the nemesis 'starts' with a certain planet, but as time goes on, they take over other planets and kind of force you to confront them or you'll lose out on drops. I've had a SoP on Venus for like 2 months now. All because I can't be bothered to actually hunt her down.
Hot take: there should be separate day and night node on cetus. Waiting an hour just to attempt eidolons is annoying. I want to play the game mode when i feel like it.
Parvos Granum hasn't been around as long as Salad V, any of the other Corpus Board of Directors or Nef Anyo yet I find him as one of the most interesting and well-written characters in Corpus lore.
... Parvos Granum has benn in the lore for god knows how long as a background character with deadlock making him a "main character." It partly why he is so good because DE branched everything together back then.
I kinda miss Frohd Bek. He was like the only Corpus antagonist before Parvos who had a real background and motives. Wish they would have expanded his character instead of bringing him back for "Ambulas Reborn" and just killing him off.
Personally I think the new war should have mentioned umbra at the least. A whole story for this 1 warframe leading up to the new war just to forget about him. He could have saved you at the beggining of the quest (if you played as him) but I guess he forgot he was sentient.
I understand that it would have been a lot of extra work but an alternate version of some cutscenes showing him getting Frozen or something instead of just dropping on the floor like a normal Warframe would have been nice.
I agree with 4:41, Oberon really should be made into 1 of the 4 starting frames. Then we can have Melee DPS Frame Ranged/Support DPS Frame Crowd Control Frame Healing/Support Frame
I agree, having only 3 starting frames and 1 of them is obsolete since you get a cooler Excalibur for free (and with potato and 3 umbra formas installed) still makes no sense imo, they should make 4 or 5 starting frames, those being: Excalibur, Volt, Mag, Oberon and either Rhino (A beefy tank for starters) or Frost (A solid defensive frame for beginners), that way you have a Melee, Range, CC, Healing and Tank/Defensive frames. Sorry for bad english btw
My only hot take for this game is its amazing mod and chat admin team that has never abused their power to perma ban any player because they did not want to trade with em
My two hot takes are the following 1) DE should remove the Q & A section, so they'll be forced to see if their "New Player Experience" is actually useful. My second hot take is that DE stopped using the test servers because they hated having to fix bugs immediately instead of the usual cherry-picking of which bugs to fix
The first one is really good. I started playing about 2 months ago, and the only reason I know anything about this game is that a work friend who's been playing since launch has been helping me out.
The intense burnout comes not from a lack of content, but from ignoring 99.9% of said content because you need to do one specific thing 300 times (on average) to get the one specific thing you're after.
I think the biggest problem is that you almost HAVE to do that though. I'm not too far in, a quest or two before The New War, and my Operator is unbelievably week, still stuck with a mote amp. I literally JUST spent the day mining for necramech stuff, and I hate that all of that provides zero benefit elsewhere. I need to level up the Quills, but I need to get eidolon cores. Yeah I'm sure using a party to carry me through teralysts would work but I'm almost exclusively solo unless it's for murmers, and waiting for night to kill vomvalysts is its own pain
hot take, DE should automate holiday events so that even if they dont have any thing new to stuff into them they still happen on time. instead of being almost a month off because they were focused on a real update, for examples see : dog days still hasent started the last 2 years the Christmas stand-in was 2 weeks delayed or more anniversary happening 90% in April instead of may
In dog days's case I like to imagine it's because the dev team has to debate amongst themselves whether or not to cut out the free forma, and what the new reward they ad should be :P
Nah man, we definitely need a part two of this. Listening to you comedically bash smoothbrain tenno for the last five minutes has been the best piece of warframe content I've consumed in quite some time.
Here's a hot take: the og steel path arcanes are so borderline mandatory for most guns that I'd argue a second arcane slot MAY be justified because I want to run other arcanes but my weapon choice makes them hardly viable
I think this is becoming more and more of a regular thought. Thats exactly what crossed my mind too while I was browsing through my arcanes some days ago. And the word "mandatory" perfectly describes how these arcane feel when using so I absolutely agree with this take.
I agree but here is my version, a second arcane slot for the extra shit never used exclusively like reduced recoil arcanes and unlocking this slot unlocks a second exiles slot. So things like "Hush" have a excuse to be used for the first time in ten years.
@@about_dataNo. 5% less time spent reloading at the cost of each kill taking half longer is still a plain bad deal The fundamental issue is that builds are all about numbers. And there's always a build that yields the best numbers, making every other build irrelevant
Please not in everything. We dont need that much of railjack cuz its designed for 2 people minimum. Running back and forth for 40sec at a time is boring asf.
@@fluffy338 I have fun with it and would like it to be relevant, but I didn't say it should be the only way to play. Nodes should stay, but I think an endless mode with railjack where you do different missions as part of a sort of "bounty gauntlet" would be fun. Railjack just doesn't have good enough rewards to merit going there because funnily enough the majority of rewards that you get are FOR railjack. I think that should change.
@@fluffy338>ai crew has left the chat but seriously, you can get 3 mediocre ai crewmates at command intrinsic 2 and it will carry you to veil proxima. there’s no reason you should ever have to leave your pilot seat.
coming in late, but man, I did like the Starfield ship gameplay despite its flaws, would definitely like to see warframe flesh it out with more firepower customization and stuff, as well as combat changes/upgrades, like us actually being able to take on superdestroyers in our dinky little ship
OK, hot take: They should give Focus the same treatment as they did with syndicate standing, getting rid of Lenses entirely and instead just making it that you earn a fixed percentage of focus affinity for your selected school of focus with every maxed piece of gear.
I mean you dont need lenses at all anymore for focus. Zariman/Duviri content has you kill so many thrax enemies you can gain 200k focus in a matter of like 20-30 minutes
@@IzalithLost Still need them to unlock new focus schools, I believe. Because if you don't unlock a focus school, you can't select it and if you don't select it, focus xp sources such as Thrax enemies will continue counting only for the school you selected automatically by completing the second dream.
recently I just got back in thanks to cross save coming out and holy shit the amount of higher end mods I just don't have that forces me to do some weird, obscure thing is absurd
More like archaic. needing to just wait for rediculously low droprates to pay out is frankly stupid. IM NOT PLAYING A GATCHA GAME, IM PLAYING A LOOTER SHOOTER.
Cope with it, it's a game with an absurd amount of content, if you wanna get to the bottom of it then you'll have to visit the wiki often that's how it is
Hot take: they should return to railjack, implement more content for it and see it even marginally integrated into the game. It currently works, is actually interesting, it however lacks any depth or real content.
The primary issue with railjack is that it was a failed update from the start. Liches where originally supposed to be part of it on release and the system was supposed to be more expansive and meaningful but they just defaulted to mindless missions.
My hot take: Conclave needs a reboot and revival to realize the potential that it _does have,_ but DE needs to lean into party game type gameplay with stuff that doesn't involve you directly playing as warframes, but instead doing stuff like necramech pvp, grineer vs. corpus gameplay now that kahl and veso laid the coding/animation groundwork for playing as corpus and grineer, and K-Drive racing.
The Grineer vs Corpus is absolutely a 100% correct take I want, that would be way more easier to balance than Warframe’s anyways But to make it even more balanced and not forcing players to be a faction they don’t want, we can make it so it’s like a field training for Kahls brothers since he accepts all kinds of people including Corpus, that way we can have mixed teams while still retaining the same core ideas around said game mode.
if thats the case then we should a have an "ussy" on every warframe besides citrine and nips on every warframe including the males because whats the point having sexy women if we can't have something for female degenerates (which aren't seen in the wild all to often due to integrity and composure being the status quo like riding the train with a mask on in asian countries as courtesy being a normal everyday thing) to enjoy. please let women be accepted for being degenerates like the rest of us are lol.
Here's my hot take that I'll slap here cause I refuse to use twitter Grendel's farm is better and more forgiving than 50% of the frames. Sure the levels are an absolute pain, but a guaranteed reward at the end of difficulty far beats the blank horizon for the rng farm based frames that breaks you down with monotony
This. I'd rather have a "Grendel farm" and repeat to find the "right build" for the encounter than to bully my way into 1000's of rng fails. *Octavia farm ptsd
5:00 “it’s pay to win” I have. Over 1000 hours (not a lot but I only play on weekends) and it took me till hour 1300 to even buy plat and I used it for cosmetics, you can just trade😭
ice cold take. this is what a lot of people thought was going to happen originally before DE said it would be too difficult. i still do not understand how it could be prohibitively hard to mark the textures according to the coordinates of the color channels we already use to recolor things, and then let us swap in new textures along those coordinates. but I'm not a game dev and warframe is spaghetti code so it's anyone's guess whether it's a lie, incompetence, or a genuine issue with how the game is made.
@@0osk exactly, it's made in unreal I don't know how hard it would be to let us use custom shaders like metallic, matte, plastic, etc for texturizing the colors. Something like rocket league's color customization
Ice cold take: unlocking focus nodes shouldn’t just be dumping tons of xp into each node. I’ve personally wanted nodes to have challenges associated with them to unlock each level of a node. I’m not the most creative person, but for example: to unlock nodes of the caustic strike node is tied to stripping armor with frame abilities (maybe all forms of armor strip). As for lenses, they could just be a cost of unlocking the node after the challenge is completed 🤷
My hot take A: just because the regular game mode where enemies die en masse with a single fart (or two farts in steel path)is valid doesn’t mean having one with enemies that take time and possibly strategy to kill (maybe more weak point based enemies ) would make the game worse, and in fact it would make it better. B: accomplishing this by going the route where you take away weapon and mod choices doesn’t feel fun (with the exception of riven mods, which have always felt like cheating) because one of my personally favorite things is making builds using mods and helminth. (Maybe a change in this mode to how crits and statuses get calculated in just that game mode?) TLDR: a game mode where us at our full power and full build can still struggle against enemies would be fun and not detract from the rest of the games power fantasy.
Circuit without the random stuff (Keep the decrees they are fun) is kinda what I would want. Whenever I get a good build it feels extremely fun to go up to 1000s where I could get oneshot at any moment but my power is devastating.
Steel Path was made for that, and is good for it, but people minmaxed that too, if a new steel path like system gets implemented players would minmax that too, and so forth, untin only max hp% abilities would kill anything
Probably medium temp take: Would love a mass rework/modernization of the Star Chart bosses (Vor, Lech Kril, Alad V, etc), but I understand if that’s never gonna happen since no one’d care
Providing the player is semi compatent and actually engages in the game, xaku will be the undisputed best frame due to them having everything you need to dominate (scaling damage, def strip, mobility, cc that even works on cc resistant enemies, survivability in 3 forms and is a walking middle finger to eximus enemies)
I get that it’s not possible because it would make Operators redundant, but I seriously wished that his void damage could actually damage ALL Sentients, from Eidolons to the Void Angels, it feels so weird that they have the same type of damage as Operators/Drifters but DE have to intentionally Deny Xaku’ usage of it, it just feels like a novelty for them to have it. Other than that, I genuinely love Xaku who has been my go to frame for a multitude of game mods and events.
My hot take is that Bombastine and Thrax’s characters were assassinated so hard between the first view and now, Lodun being the only character who got more interesting but that’s just because he’s…a character now. Also Mathilla is the worst of the Wyrms character wise.
Hot Take: Proteas' time control ability doesn't really make sense thematically with the rest of her kit. Yeah, her main arsenal of abilities is just TF2 Engineer, but her 4th just comes out of nowhere like "Also, this support character has the ability to control time." Like wtf? I get they wanted a Warframe to fill in that "temporal stasis control" gimmick for the Deadlock Protocol story, but I feel DE really could have made an actual time control Warframe to fill in that role. But that's just me making a mountain out of a mole hill.
First of all...protea is a support? She strikes me more as a jack of all trades over a support (her only real support ability is her 3, which well it's great and a staple of her kit still isn't enough to classify her as a support frame ....I guess shield nades too?). Second of all....that ability feels fucking awful and it's only enjoyable use is as a cheat death. It genuinely makes using her augments moderately annoying.
All of my hot takes are just like... super small things. Like i think they should remove the frame slot restriction because it feels so incentivized to collect them all and that little bit of platinum you have to pay for each one just feels weird and annoying. Also i think they should have frame parts not take 12 hours to build if the frame then takes several additional days. Like the frame taking so long i understand, but making you have to wait before you can wait feels excessive
we need a support frame that turns debuffs into buffs (exaple: being set on fire will insted regen health but it would still make you weaker deffence wise) to help out hower he'll be the only frame with friendly fire, any and all debuffs applide onto alies will be the buff versions and can overide any curent debuffs.
@@Shadow_0615 my thought prosses was that it would actual damage your teammates but only if fired by the hypathedcal frame. meaning if you arnt running a way to garenty a healing fire prock/toxen prock youd probably be more of a hindrens but it was something that ive never realy seen in a game before so.
They should update the Thumpers to allow them to be damaged by Arch-guns. It would match what happens in the "Junk run" Kahl mission, and at the point you get Heavy Gun mode, you already have enough damage to kill the thing. The only reason they are so annoying is it takes time to actually run around them to attack the weak points, especially given they like to jump so you can't hit said weak points.
With the option to kill her, yes. I do not get it how is it ok to forget that she turned on us just because "oh no they just using me" like bitch, should've thought about that before turning on the tenno.
Take it a step further and could have given the players the option to either spare or kill Lotus off. Spare = you get her back as command. Kill her off = you keep the AI version / replace her with Teshin from Duviri (after completing Duviri paradox).
Boomer take: 2014 warframe had alot more atmosphere, and i perfered the fewer enemies that it had back then, made it feel more significant to fight em and high damage single target weapons felt more useful, also shout out to any one who use to watch mogamu back in those days.
i love this, please do more also, my hot take : games like FFXIV, WoW, Destiny and other games that have a subscription system or similar (destiny literaly has you pay 60 dollars every so often) don't NEED them, warframe is here to prove it. It's a free game with no subscription that has the possibility of earning almost everything in the game for free forever. If i hear one more person saying that the developers need these kind of systems to earn they're money, i'll shove warframe on their face. They don't need it, they want it because it gives them a but load of cash (that most of the time doesn't come back into the game)
Warframe does have it's fair share of massive issues though. Destiny for example has actual missions with story behind them, mini subplots, and boss fights. The entire star chart I'm Warframe (90% of the game) is literally just repeating the same 4 game modes over and over again, then you occasionally unlock some story content to enjoy for the next hour or so before it's back to mindless goring of grineer or corpus The dlc that Destiny provide have actual substance to them that actually warrants paying for them, which is why they make so much money off of them. Warframe doesn't have the funding to even release things like "damage 3.0" that people have been waiting years for because they rely on people buying plat. Don't get me wrong I love the game but there are issues
@@fashionsuckman4652benefit here being in warframe there’s no fomo and every bit of content save for a few prime accessories is completely free and obtainable within a reasonable amount of time + a new player will be able to experience everything and get pretty much everything a 10 year old veteran has destiny…on the other hand…
Warframe is not an MMO like FFXIV/WoW and does not have to worry about insane server upkeep which is probably why it can get away with F2P. I don't think there's a single F2P MMO out there that doesn't go hard on P2W or P2P and I would imagine it's those very same upkeep costs which influence it that Warframe doesn't need to deal with.
As a returning player farming for Citrine didn't feel bad to me at all, I would just do one or two full rotation runs here and there and it felt like I was always making progress forwards thanks to the pity points, I felt like I had enough points to buy her outright before I even knew it, especially on Steel Path where I was getting about 50% more points per full run in addition to all the Acolyte drops making me feel like I was earning multiple things at once.
i hate that the challenges DE gives you half the time is “sorry, you don’t get energy or get to use abilities anymore” like i like the side modes and everything, i just hate when i’m playing a warframe and they won’t just stop making warframes abilities useless bc you died in the wrong mission type as sevagoth, or you caught a stray ancient tentacle, or whatever other shitty proc they’ll throw at you, or certain enemies being nearly immune to abilities. just rlly annoying
I got back into Warframe with Gauss Prime Access and blitzed MR 3-15 before things started slowing down and I can safelt say that the rep caps, despite growing over the MRs, is my bane. I have the rep in item form, but I'm locked out of cashing in until the next day because I hit my daily cap. Don't get it twisted, I'm still grinding through MRs and do the trials when available. My brain just has phases where I want to grind out a faction and getting told I have to wait makes monke brain angy.
Hot-ish take? Forma is a very commonly needed and critically important recourse that's TO critical and needed to only be available in BP format but also only drop from relics and EXTREMLY rare resources caches, ON top of needing 24 hours to build without spending plat. A lot of weapons and multi-part frames (Titania, Sevagoth, etc) sit on shelves because the amount of forma needed to bring them to snuff is simply to much and not worth it. Simpler take. Arcane Energize is overhyped and overpriced. Nourish is a thing now, and there's at least 5 ways to build energy without it now.
I like how Kullervo is right now. He's got a good amount of armour and a really effective heal. Though I do think they need to buff the overguard, it's nothing like the overguard that eximus get.
because eximus units usually have hundreds of thousands of points of overguard. i think starting at like level 50, eximus units start with 100k overguard, give or take a couple levels. they should either raise his overguard cap or just uncap it.
Because his armour and damage reduction don't apply to his Overguard. He has no Overguard gate and so can be oneshot from full Overguard to dead. Even nidus has health gating with his passive as long as you have 15 stacks
@@riven4121 Yeah, I know. I've got two archon shards in him right now for extra armour and a rank 2 Arcane Guardian, so I'm surviving just fine as is atm.
Regal Aya should be attainable by combining Endo with Aya instead of purchased, and Eidolon shards should be purchasable either via Platinum or max rank Quills standing
just make it cost the same or similar amount of endo to max a primed mod say 40,000-60,000 endo and that would be good enough, maybe even do a limit on conversion per week b/c there are ppl with obscene amounts of endo. and while we're at it remove the aya to ducat and traces options with varzia b/c they are the worst conversion rate to both of those resources.
@@edgyelectrokinetic6761 well what if the made a second version of regal aya that was made as described and could only be made through a "new" machine Maroo -stole- found in a derelict. and there was a daily or weekly limit of one that could be made b/c the process drains a lot of power that Maroo also uses to fuel her space station. Plus we'd get to do a mission beforehand to steal power cells from Corpus fleets. Either as a spy mission or a power cell osprey hunt in the factory tiles. just giving a lore reason as to why the player can't just instantly turn an ocean of endo into a ptw-esque currency. Since DE does need to make money so they can keep the game's servers online.
spicy opinion: I hate the relic system I don't think it's objectively bad, I just absolutely despise cracking relics Not even because I have bad luck, I'm fine with the rng, I just really don't like the actual method of cracking relics such that I've just completely avoided farming any primes for myself
@@GreenPsycho I'm fine with reactant, thats fine for the most part, I just generally do not like cracking relics. I farmed equinox twice, I'm fine with doing the same mission over and over at the mercy of rng, warframe is a farming game after all. But something about specifically the relic cracking grind drains me of energy and I have no idea why
@ThatBeePerson maybe cuz each mission it's a actually rather a small task, but to repeat all the time for the rng to finally happen... or maybe that it doesn't matter what prime you're farming, it's always the same mission but anyway, i get what you're saying, sometimes i hate it as well xd
I agree with the mr 23 dude. If you play the game a lot it can become tedious and monotonous. I myself had to take a break from the game to enjoy it again. Its less of a hot stove burning you, and more of a slow boil. The things you like about the game slowly become annoyances, and you have to take a break to see why you enjoyed them.
i feel they should rework excavation, with a full team, it isn't to bad but in duviri because of it's rogue-like nature you can get shit guns and frames and be forced to sit there for 2-5 minutes per excavator solo because the spawns refuse to give a power core, an idea for a rework, give them a rechargeable battery that acelerates the time if people die around the excavator, max range limbos could be fucked as he could make the party run but it could make it easier and faster than waiting for the right spawn, or 10 power cores spawning across the map
Take it a step further and make the rechargeable battery the void flood container. Convert kills done by the player/ powers into energy and they can always pass it on to another while also dropping power cores that fill the tank up. Once you fill a drill to max energy, all extra energy can be converted into overshields for the drill if the players interact with it (to prevent accidental draining by being near it).
This isn't a hot take, but corrosive projection even helps armor stripping frames because it's additive to their strip. Like, for pillage that's 72% power strength you dont have to build.
Ice chill take. The real hot take: Kahl missions sucks badly and have no right to exist, it feels like an outcry from the devs chained in the basement "let us make another game!" but Rebecca laughs maniacally saying "You'll be making Warframe till the end of your lives! Mwuhahahaa!" The only kind of people praising his missions for being "fresh" is the absolute whales who desperately need to go outside and touch grass or just play another fucking game. I launch WF to play my frames, I don't have an issue with repetitiveness, with so many nicely done frames, I always try different ones and take time to learn how to play them properly, I don't want to play Kahl or Drifter in duviri or anything other than my frame of choice. Instead of dumping time and money into those poorly designed and extremely buggy modes (ok, maybe Kahl is not that buggy), they should focus on improving the core frame-related content, like finally fixing RJ, giving new tiles to the old grineer and corpus nodes, etc.
I think the hot take about needing a condition overload on guns meant that guns should have a version of condition overload that doesn't require killing to activate
The credit and endo caches SPECIFICALLY in SP circuit are a good thing as they can be seen as an incentive to stop playing circuit and do something else, which can reduce burnout, which DE certainly does not want players to experience
Railjack is peak Warframe gameplay and I honestly wish they did like 3 consecutive years of Railjack-related updates. On a related note - Seeker Volley and crewmates make the gamemode so braindead to play and I think Empyrean would be healthier if they got axed
I just mentioned this on a Facebook post. People be like "R8 my look", and then have an all-black with some red frame or all-white with some gold. And they pile on every possible attachment and visual effect possible without thinking about cohesion. Less is more, and color theory is a thing. It hurts me when these atrocities get "10/10"s in chat.
Bad take: Lycah’s hunt (as a subsume) is an extremely underrated utility ability for health orbs, because it can utilize shit like equilibrium, health conversion, and other health orb based mods/ abilities.
My hot take: Railjack is actually very fun. I know most Warframe players like playing solo, but if you play Railjack with friends it's a very enjoyable experience. People complain how it's "not Warframe" when there's still a large bit of regular Warframe thrown in. Also the amount of credits and endo you get from it make it worthwhile, it's definitely the most fun way of farming those.
@@VioIetteMolotov maybe 1 less for each player in a squad. That way you still have a few to fix the occasional fuck up but can't treat it like solo with extra guns
my hot take is: I think helminths subsume makes building frames less unique to them and turns into "ok time to put gloom/pillage/therros on my 50th frame". helminth is optional yes, but for certain frames it feels mandatory to make them viable.
My hot is that second dream made a big mistake. It removed warframes as the central plot driver, resulting in multitude of story sections and entire game modes that completely veer off from being a space ninja as well as forcing us to deal with a wayyyyy less interesting protagonist for a significant chunk of warframe's story
here’s a take of all time, warframe having a lot of content is a good thing. it shows people that they can take their time and don’t have to immediately rush to the newest thing, nor do they have to worry about fomo.
Forget about cross-save, I just want the full Shawzin menu on console. Right now the only way to make custom songs is to record while actually playing, so unless you are actually musically skilled good luck properly recording even a ten second song. I really dont understand how it hasnt been ported yet, as far as I've seen the PC Shawzin menu is a text field you enter special musical code into, what's stopping that from working on console?
Spicy take(and one i hate to admit, i love my firechicken prime in her current state). If ember maintained her accelerant ability over overheat 2.0, but maintained the rest of her kit updates, she'd be stronger in late/endgame content as a pure caster.
Here is one: Saryn has fallen off and isn't as dominant anymore, so currently there is an empty place at the top and many frames try to fill it. Examples: Volt, Mesa, Revenant and Wisp.
"It's pay to win" Actually, Warframe kinda is, it's just that there are ways to make the whales pay for you. Ideally, they'd add more ways to earn free slots because that's the big thing I consider really pay to win right now.
New railjack is fun but old railjack was the best time ever in warframe, back to back endless gian points getting hundreds of intrinsics and the old op teather being able to wipe tons of ships off the map in seconds. Now there isnt even a normal spaceship exterminate other than the super low lvl earth nodes. Also we should keep gaining intrinsics points in rj and duviri for redemption in evergreen rewards like kuva and relics or to help with the grind of specific rare drops like the spectra vandal.
If we go to the tau system there needs to be railjack nodes as a part of the normal starchart for a more streamlined experience we also should have mission types where we go back and for the from railjack to ground tilesets
Anomaly Shards are still useless three years after railjack release. Railjack still doesn't have all the planets available for missions. Sentient Scalpel is the single most useless mod in the entire game, as it increases the railjack's damage against sentient ships, which only ever exist within the scarlet spear event (which is long gone and never returning) and in new war. Corpus nodes suck because there is nothing "railjack" related in those missions, you only ever do boarding the primary objective (aha le funni jamming drones) and then enter the corpus obelisk. So it's essentially just a more tedious ground mission. Volatile reactor heat is too goddamn slow. The forward artillery doesn't have alternatives to the tungunska canon. If you shoot the forward artillery into the middle engine of a grineer crewship, in the back, while it's deactivate, your damage won't actually go through.
@@Blueblitzer9264 I really wish DE did the idea that had for Railjack, where it was an asymmetrical multiplayer experience and the Railjack crew did things that helped those on the planet node.
Railjack got so shafted, it's criminal. Launch RJ, bugs aside, had so much promise and joy for me taking out my behemoth investment to go wreck some face. 😞 Rest in peace, original promises....
Fortuna (before new war) was the most beaultiful open world map. And the most empty aswel. I wish there was more content to do here like the isolation vaults on deimos
About crossive projection: ever since armor strip changes in veil breaker, it does stack and indirectly reduce the stregth requirement for all armor striping abilities (except gauss) For example, hildryn's 2 needs 400% strength to 100% armor strip, but if you have crossive projection, you only need 82% armor strip, the remaing 18% is reduced by crossive projection .which reduces your strength requirement from 400% to 338%
In higher-end play, using Corrosive Projection actively hurts pillage users. Getting strength in Warframe isn't hard with the shards, focus trees and arcanes we now have.
@@Sabuuchiow does it hurt pillage users when it cuts down the full strip strength requirement from 400% to 338? Especially for high end content where any mod/shard/arcane slot used for things other than "more strength" is a good thing? Not saying it is THE BEST AURA out there, but its also no longer anti synergistic with strip abilities or trash as you might think it is
I spent so much resources on feeding the helminth just to give harrow the parasitic armor (It strips all the base shields and gives armor) (Change first skill) and it's so fire. I'm talking: Invincibility on fourth skill, plus red crits, infinite mana from third, incredible damage and outheal on second and infinite armor on first.
Hot take (actually colder than the Antarctic): We don't need more new content right now, we need optimization on all the problems that exist in the game (like y'know teleport's auto-finisher sometimes just deciding it doesn't want to work). Like the fact there are still issues with things that have been in the game for at least 4 years without seeing a hint of correction is just like, it makes me understand a small fraction of how QA testers feel lol. Also hard agree on the standing cap being dumb though I do actually do things to level my MR. I just think it makes no sense in the way of like "nope you helped us TOO much today, fuck off pissboy"
I remember a dude on the forums telling me that shield gating wasn't important because he didn't build for it on any on his SP builds and still did alright. Like, my brother in Corrupted Vor, even if you do not, in fact, build for shield gate, there's still a massive difference between having shields and not having them because at some point, enemy damage just doesn't care anymore. Inaros can do a bit of SP because it takes a while until enemies reach a level where they can easily eat through 10k health with loads of armour, and Nidus can basically cheat death (though I still think Nidus isn't a universially great frame because he kinda sucks at any mission where you don't have the time to stay in place and farm a lot of mutation stacks first). The vast majority of SP builds do not even incorporate health mods because for most Warframes, 440% bonus base health basically doesn't affect how long they can stay alive on level 100+ with those enemy damage buffs. Shield gate simply means you don't get one-shot (unless there's toxin damage, but thankfully it's not that common of a damage type. On that note, fuck Mutalist Alad V) and if you're good, that's all you need.
Hot take: Weapons and equipments that get bonus mod capacity after each forma use up to 5, should unlock a perk system like incarnan weapons with 1 tier that has 5 nodes (or 2 tiers, one having 2 nodes, other having 3 nodes ) after applying 5 formas Give us an insentive to engage with that mechanic and a reward for putting our resources into it Otherwise, why is it even a thing to begin with?
@@pendragon5744 thats the reson why forma exist in general, still doesn't answer why there should be a capacity increase for those weapons out of no where
in fairness to the corrosive projection guy, it probably is tied for best one-size fits all aura, since it buffs armor strip abilities like pillage / fire blast / terrify stacking additively. Granted there are different builds that rely on other auras (gladiator mod abuse with melee guidance, brief respite for shield gating) but its pretty good vs grineer and situational vs infested / corpus since those enemy types have armored enemies / ways to give armor to enemies.
@@omarelfakihperez4466 y'know after the ammo change (not the cap nerfs or the merciless nerf) the ammo isn't that hard to come by for most weapons. the only hiccup i've run into is during circuit b/c you don't have access to a companion to use vacuum unless you use khora, so you will temporarily run out of ammo.

The fact that companions can permanently die so easily severely undermines their help.
A way to revive them from death like the Panzer Vulpapyla should be built into every single companion.

Panzer's aurvivability is unique to teh vulpaphyla so giving it to all companion would be a bad idea. i could watch a video like that lasting an entire hour
And this is why Papyrus is my most used frame.

Yeah I agree with op here. Nothing else she does has time as a part of it, and it's a shame we might never get a real time warframe because of her
All of my hot takes are just like... super small things. Like i think they should remove the frame slot restriction because it feels so incentivized to collect them all and that little bit of platinum you have to pay for each one just feels weird and annoying. Also i think they should have frame parts not take 12 hours to build if the frame then takes several additional days. Like the frame taking so long i understand, but making you have to wait before you can wait feels excessive
i agree, but mostly because i played botw, slot inv feels like zesty mac n cheese, and equinox grind exists still
It's kind of fixed with them gifting weapon and warframe slots with nightwave and events but ye, feels like a mobile game strategy
we need a support frame that turns debuffs into buffs (exaple: being set on fire will insted regen health but it would still make you weaker deffence wise) to help out hower he'll be the only frame with friendly fire, any and all debuffs applide onto alies will be the buff versions and can overide any curent debuffs.

They should update the Thumpers to allow them to be damaged by Arch-guns. It would match what happens in the "Junk run" Kahl mission, and at the point you get Heavy Gun mode, you already have enough damage to kill the thing. The only reason they are so annoying is it takes time to actually run around them to attack the weak points, especially given they like to jump so you can't hit said weak points.

also, my hot take : games like FFXIV, WoW, Destiny and other games that have a subscription system or similar (destiny literaly has you pay 60 dollars every so often) don't NEED them, warframe is here to prove it.
The entire star chart I'm Warframe (90% of the game) is literally just repeating the same 4 game modes over and over again, then you occasionally unlock some story content to enjoy for the next hour or so before it's back to mindless goring of grineer or corpus
The dlc that Destiny provide have actual substance to them that actually warrants paying for them, which is why they make so much money off of them.
Warframe doesn't have the funding to even release things like "damage 3.0" that people have been waiting years for because they rely on people buying plat.

Do more of these. They are good.
Getting that one gold drop you need from a relic takes literally 2 runs

I like how Kullervo is right now. He's got a good amount of armour and a really effective heal. Though I do think they need to buff the overguard, it's nothing like the overguard that eximus get.
because eximus units usually have hundreds of thousands of points of overguard. i think starting at like level 50, eximus units start with 100k overguard, give or take a couple levels. they should either raise his overguard cap or just uncap it.

@ThatBeePerson maybe cuz each mission it's a actually rather a small task, but to repeat all the time for the rng to finally happen... or maybe that it doesn't matter what prime you're farming, it's always the same mission

Oh, just remove Limbo, easy!

Next time you post a video can you out subway surfers in the corner, I got distracted

Also, spaceship battles. Who can be mad at that?

About crossive projection: ever since armor strip changes in veil breaker, it does stack and indirectly reduce the stregth requirement for all armor striping abilities (except gauss)

Warframe doesn't respect your time, steel path is at least 4 times harder than normal difficulty and you only get twice the amount of resources, also you only get +3 more kullervos bane in steel path making getting him a pain in the ass and for pathos clamps you only get +5 more, its sad
are you talking about Duviri Sp or Sp in general?
Ive been cackling at this for like, 20 mins now. I love your editing style and videos
