So glad you were able to reclaim your memories, that Case and Cars is cool. I'm a female and used to play with Matchbook Cars in the dirt as a child so I still love them. I was a tomboy. Much love.
You got those hot wheels and matchbox cars for a steal . Great purchase with the pocket knives. The red Thrill Driver car came in a track set by the same name. I collect those old hot wheels. Glad you made a video on them. 😎
Yea me too. A little. I dont because i will start buying them. And I dont need to. I need to only buy pre 1980 hotwheels...LOL. Keep it to a minimum...haha
Stinks that one with the bird on it looked great till I picked it up. And it had a surface like an old celluloid pinback and it was all messed up...the bird had flakes of stuff of it....real shame. Those are far better than the norm for me to see. And usually even If I see knives like that....they are not worth filming at all because some seller wants $30 each...LOL.
Yea.....I know. I couldnt believe it. The best score is finding them in a youtube video. This video will earn hundreds of dollars over 5 years. The cars are all free.....and i can buy some more. That is what is NUTS
I had Matchbox cars in the 1960s, all my friends did too---played with them in sandboxes, on our porches and stuff like that---I loved them. Then, our sons grew up playing with Hot Wheels---and I recognized several of them from the ones you showed. Our cats used to love it when the little cars when zipping around the tracks---they would swat them as they went by, and it would crack us up. Nice memories, thanks!
Cool racoon! What a deal on the old carbon steel jackknives..I can't get one of those for $6.00 . They usually start at $10.00. I was too old for Matchbox's 😂 They are really cool. The 🐿️ king get to climb up a tree. How cool. That will make him happy
Right on. Those Knives were pretty decent. Nothing that great....I like the one with the Pheasant on it....but it was some kind of decal type coating and it was all damaged. Those swiss army knives looked cool at first....for the price. But they were just not as nice of quality . They were kind of junkers....but were not much money
@rockscousteau That fish knife was worth the 6 bucks..I have one similar made by Imperial with the mother of pearl grips. Love the old carbon steel blades.
I always look for red lines for a friend at antique stores. The 1st blue red line car you showed sold for 39.99 + shipping today on E-bay, so I’d say you did pretty good. Nothing like getting back the toys you played with as kids. Brings back those good memories when you walk by it displayed.
Nice knife haul!! I would’ve snatched those instantly! You stole em for that price!! I’m into the old American imperial and hammer brand shell knives, and the imperial palm tree knife is pretty rare I don’t see many of em. All of these are pretty good sellers on eBay!
I would have gotten them all usually....but the others had flaws. damage and were probably woirth it....but you know....so many deals to get...have to be selective kinda. But I never see knives even this nice for that cheap....hardly ever. Maybe a yardsale
These are just nice enough. I wont get rid of them. And I will try and find a nicer case now (Empty) like this one. And fill it with cars. Any of these ideas are open.....to do. We got to start making more money. This is a TOUGH month on ad revenue. This kind of stuff makes it far easier.
I have seen you dig old die cast cars too. They arent worth much dug.....but I dont have a place. Wish I did. I never hardly find them. If you do again....Pull out your collection. And call it My Childhood hotwheels and one I dug. And Tag everything hotwheels. That gives you reach into places MOST bottle and dump diggers have not ventured.
A blast from the past. Mine were more of the 60's moved out in 80 nephews took them and my baseball cards ,mom said I was to old for them they wanted to play with them. Kills me.when I see what they go for now.
Oh man, the matchbox cars are really bringing back some old memories. And regrets! I really wish i saved a lot of my childhood toys. I chopped most of my matchbox cars in half with my dads meat cleaver. He was a chef by trade so you can imagine the beating I got for that one.
My boys found a redline Hot Wheels car at an outlet style Goodwill last year. Pay by the # kind of store. A few months ago they sold it for about $90 on eBay. Bought it for 10 cents!! They're hard to come by that's for sure!
Heck Yea.....Thrift stores are awesome. I hope my truck gets fixed quick...I want to do some digging...LOL. But I like this too. I doubt I will find anymore redlines for a while....I got lucky
Those red lines are very collectible, Rocks. And who doesn't love a pocketknife? Squirrel Man will be happy to go outside!❤
All those places i am going. GREAT to spend money. I like those paper stacks the best. I can get a month worth of uploads in an hour in a good stack
So glad you were able to reclaim your memories, that Case and Cars is cool. I'm a female and used to play with Matchbook Cars in the dirt as a child so I still love them. I was a tomboy. Much love.
I have the case, along with many of the cars. A flood of memories.
Just that blue redline is probably your money back if not more.
If only I kept all of my toy cars...wow!!!!
You got those hot wheels and matchbox cars for a steal . Great purchase with the pocket knives.
The red Thrill Driver car came in a track set by the same name.
I collect those old hot wheels. Glad you made a video on them. 😎
Yea, those cars are awesome. I doubt that happens again anytime soon. Finding a red line in a thrift store is a rarity anymore. i got LUCKY
I still browse the Hotwheels displays 😊
Yea me too. A little. I dont because i will start buying them. And I dont need to. I need to only buy pre 1980 hotwheels...LOL. Keep it to a minimum...haha
That was a pretty good buy on those cars and pocket knives. I collect knives and they were vintage. Won't take much to clean them up either. 💖💯
I know. I thought it was a great deal...I got lucky. You just dont find cars like that in a thrift store that often anymore. That was a rarity
Rock do you remember the funny car match races between the mongoose and snake? I do. Love that Paddy Wagon. Thanks. What's up squirrel man.
I remember the funny car r aces....but not the cars and drivers. There sure were alot of those die cast cars made of those 20 years ago.
Good score on the knives. I collect them as well. Thanks, Rocks.

@@rockscousteau Yeah, when you see them, you better grab them at that price. They won't ever make those ever again.
The hot wheels were a score and a half!!
Yea.....I know. I couldnt believe it. The best score is finding them in a youtube video. This video will earn hundreds of dollars over 5 years. The cars are all free.....and i can buy some more. That is what is NUTS

Yea. These are nice enough....I wont ever get rid of them. I love those Hulk Cars. I am in heaven. I wish I had a sandbox
I still have my case of matchbox cars from the 70’s! All in excellent condition believe it or not! lol.
Those matchbox cars are great. I think as a kid overall....I like the Matchbox cars better. But I sure like that Hulk Car....LOL

I hardly ever see them. That one toy dealer in Rinky dinks and the place in Boaz has a few.

Love the Hot Wheels if you want to get rid of the extra hulk I would love to purchase from you.
Well man....I like that so much.....and honestly cannot believe I found those. I think I am going to start buying them again
Maybe down the line....I just want to look at and play with this stuff for a while..lol
Those old knives are nice! Man, those Hot Wheels & Matchbox cars sure bring back memories. I had several of those same ones.
Yea. I loved these little things as a kid. I had the fold up sets you ran them on....too. I liked the electric track race cars too
