One of my local school districts has been buying buses from Wolfington since the late nineties , when IC was AmTran. The other local district has had a bus buy back/replacement deal with them since the nineties as well. A great company.

So if these are problems then maybe Wolfington can communicate with IC on a fix? 🤔 to maybe re-route the harness Remember the engineers do not drive or fix these so they have no clue.
I drove a 2014 IC and recently just got a 2021 C2 and it’s awesome, liked the IC but love the new C2. Went from bus 442 to 485

These are the best buses. There's no need for any school district to buy anything else although they still do probably to save money. I had this exact problem with my IC with all lights on the hood becoming inoperable. In my case they would work after a few minutes when the bus warmed up. Eventually, though, they wouldn't' come on at all. I assume the mechanics figured out what's here and fixed it as I've had no further problems, but now I know the cause.
IC's are the Bentley's of school buses. You get what you pay for.

IC touts the grill as "easy change." It certainly looks to be easy. Maybe I'll get chrome grille eventually. It vastly improves the appearance of the bus.

Is there a common problem with the heated mirrors?
We have several of these Wolfington...IC Internationals in our fleet. How come the cooling fans cycle on every time the engine brake activates??? And then we accelerate after the stop, this cooling fan noise is like a jet airplane taking off??? Engine temperature gauge always reading a little under 200 F.
We have an IC Bus. It is unbearable to drive because of the intense heat in the drivers area. Both water valves on the heater hoses are closed. Also you don’t get any AC to the driver. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Rhet Spires Trinity Christian School Dublin Ga.
have you ran across an issue from the coolant air hose connected to the compressor blowing due to high psi?

just how* you would in a car. Zonar is one of the best systems to use to find and clear codes on School buses

Me personally think that IC buses are really crappy and cheap I would perfer a bluebird or Thomas but ic fe buses were pretty fire

Great video, but let Drew talk, dude. He was moving at a fast pace explaining & to the point until you interrupted like he's taking forever "what are you gonna show what are you gonna show." He was trying to tell you until he had to stop and wait for you.
WHY They don't build FLAT FACE with no rood whatsoever, like any other buses ???

They do - it's called the IC RE - there is one in route operation for Tri County CAC Head Start (Charles County, MD). (I do not work for them - I'm simply a fan of school busses of all types - including flat-face/"noseless" - such as the IC RE.)Thomas Bus used to have three flat-face models - but they axed the Thomas ER due to decreased demand - leaving the EFX and HDX to serve the flat-face marketplace.
