Awesome video! Thanks for coming by the shop.
Loved it! Thanks for having me!
“It helps me in my day to day battle to try and convince myself that I like doing this” mechanicing has never been summed up so well 😂
Haha right??
This man has actually kept thousands of children safe by keeping their buses safe. What a blessing to our society.
I was like “this guy doesn’t have any pliers”. Lol. Then they came at the end.
This guy might be in the top three. Liked this.
Watching from Ontario Canada 🎉
Glad you liked it!
I do collision repair on specifically school buses for a living. cool to see another bus techs setup.
That’s wild! I never would have though there would be enough work for you to stay busy with school busses alone
@@ToolBoxTour where I live in Mississippi there are a lot of BOUJEE private schools. They like to keep the buses looking good. We are an international truck dealership. So they send us work from all over. Any international trucks, school buses, fire trucks, ambulances, or CV model trucks. We do mostly bluebird, Thomas, and international school buses. I have work lined up for months
He's so calm and collected. Probably never gets mad while working.
ILL TEMPERED WOULD BE THE WORD I WOULD USE
Lol, wish that were true
More please! These are my bedtime lullabies 😊
Sick to see us school bus mechanics getting some love. 🤘
Yeah! I was excited for this one! I have another on the way!
@@ToolBoxTour awesome. I'll keep an eye out for it!
I like the very last thing he said about the tools help him convince himself he likes doing this type work. Tools are cool, but can very easily become an addiction.
Yeah and when the addiction hits.. it hits HARD!
I can agree to this statement… I’ve spent 5 grand in a year on took a mixture of harbor freight and tool truck.. went from having 3 ratchets and all chrome sockets to having 10 ratchets impact sockets ect.
Another great toolbox tour I’m in the heavy equipment industry the majority of the tools I use are big I just love seeing the variety of tools and listening to the guys who are passionate about them just as I am about my tools. Thanks and keep up the good work
I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Man I really appreciate you taking the time and doing these tool box tours. And thank you to bro for letting us see his awesome tool collection.
I’m glad you enjoy them!
I love seeing and watching people who need something so they make it. I wish that I had the skills to do things like that.
You should find some golf courses for toolbox tours. Turf mechanics have some cool tools.
I’ll add it to the list 👍
Another awesome Tool Box Tours video! Thank you and the mechanic for putting so much care and thought into the videos. 1 hour and 2 minutes literally flys by - I so enjoy the casual pace of your videos - Very relaxing to watch! Looking forward to the next one!!
I’m glad you liked it Samuel! That means a lot 🙂
cool video man,
thanks to owner for showing his collection.
I’m glad you enjoyed it!
I would love to have that hutch for my late 90’s macsimizer!
That's some serious organization and some serious coin for those tools...very nice...clean shop don't see that very often
Yeah forsure. It’s a newer shop too so they helps.
Love his boxes! Once I saw the rx7s I got even more excited! Excellent/terrible taste in cars 😂 I've owned 9 of them over the course of my life. It takes a special kind of crazy!
Haha! Thanks for watching Michael!
One of the best videos I have seen !!
I’m glad you liked it!
Really awesome setup, love his approach and down to Earth sensibility with everything. Keep up the great work man!
I love the blokes mission impossible goggles 😬
Thank you for the time you take to share these Tech's passion. Serious and beautiful tool collection and set up.
Well done! Really enjoy the longer vids !
I’m glad you like them!
Nice set of tools thank you both
Thanks for watching!
John had some amazing workshop jewelry ! Loved seeing all of it. Great work!
Workshop jewelry. Haha love it
Love watching these videos gives me an idea of what tools to get and what’s good and what’s not appreciate these videos keep it up
I’m glad they help you out 🙂
Great video. He has a great collection. I was fascinated about the lifts and the jack stands just like you. I was curious how they lift those things. Super cool to see.
Yeah it was really cool to see!
Really appreciate the time that goes into these videos both by you and the mechanic. Would love to see a box from a heavy equipment shop like Cat.
I’m glad you like them! I’ll try to get some more heavy cat techs on the channel!
Another well done video, thanks.
Glad you liked it!
Good one!
THAT'S a professional mechanic!
Clean looking shop, see a few other tool boxes there, how many techs? Jonathan is right you don't always need the expensive brands to do the job, any tool with a lifetime warranty works for me.
I think they have 5-6 techs. I’ll be posting another box from this shop in a week or two 👍
thanks@@ToolBoxTour
I use too install the automatic tire chains on propane trucks in Canada. Built bobtails from the ground up.
So cool! Thanks for watching
Great set up and video!
Thanks!
Bubbles finally made it out of the shed
pipe wrenches like that are great in the rust belt for alignments on semis or buses, to adjust the tie rod, otherwise it’s very hard to turn the rod
Makes sense!
2:40 my first Snap on 2 bank box, I fabricated a lift kit like that.
Only difference, I used a full length on front and back.
With the tubing running full length, it doesn’t show as big of a gap at the bottom. And you could potentially use a fork lift to lift the box up.
I enjoyed that more than i would like to admit😊
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Jonathan, You might have a hard time convincing yourself, but just know--without someone like you working on these school busses, there would be absolutely no way for most kids to get to school and learn. You need to separate the duty of repair with your work environment. Figure out which one you don't like and change it.
Lots of cool tools Great video 👍
Thanks! I’m glad you liked it
Awesome setups
Great set up, thanks for the tour !
Torquing hose clamps 😂 almost fell for it
We do torque hose clamps. It is a safety issue on heater hoses, and reduces come backs for leaks.
Good guy appreciate the visit
Commenting on the video for the algorithm
Love it! 🤘
Lockout kits are the only purchase that while invaluable you hope you rarely need it.
Yeah same with tap and die sets!
Very nice guy, very nice boxes. Keep up the good work.
Thanks, will do!
@@ToolBoxTourU r welcome
Wow.
🤘😄
Great video
Thanks Jason!
I appreciate your videos. Started watching a few days ago because I just transitioned from the military and am about to be a mechanic and wasn't sure if I had enough or the right type of tools. I still need some but seeing what people are using I have time to get there
I’m glad you enjoy the videos. Thank you for your service!
I was at HF today. Got tools i neeeded to work on a snow blower.
Get it running!
Thanks for the links! Wife doesn’t like the boat load of screen shots though.
Are you able to get contact information for the guy that 3D printed those super cool single straight line linkable wrench racks ? Might have been in the semi truck guy 4 or 6 videos ago? That guy deserves my money more than at least one of my tool truck guys
If you hit me up on instagram, I can get you the info to the dealer that I was told that had them. I contacted him and asked if I could put his info on here and he never got back to me.
The racks that I 3D printed were designed by me specifically for that brand of pass through sockets. If I can figure out how to share the file, I will gladly do so (just keep in mind they are a very loose fit, and wouldn't do any good outside of a tool box). If you're asking about any of the others, I could let you know what they are, and where I got them.
If you can't get the info you need, toolganizer has the 3D printed wrench racks👍🏽 I just ordered a few
@@coreymartin-wk1fioh sweet!
Wait did he say torque wrench on hose clamps?
Yes, we do torque hose clamps. If a heater hose were to slip off of a heater under a seat and burn someone’s legs, it would be pretty serious. It is also part of the pre-delivery process on new buses.
Try a bicycle shop
Ohh that’s a good idea!
Awesome set up. But i have to mention, did he just say that he torques hose clamps..? Maybe in a recall/campaign situation?
We do indeed torque hose clamps. For the safety of the passengers and to reduce comebacks.
@@toomanyprojects8473 on what applications though?
3:00 close your eyes and just listen
When I started buying my own tools at 14 it was all craftsman from sears and Pittsburgh from harbor freight, now I own a trucking company working on my own semis and gearing up to build a shop and it will be filled with icon and other harbor freight tools and US general boxes.. the price point for what your getting is just to good not to use them.
43:50
If your working on buses your missing 1in drive ratchet set
Who Torques house clamps
Bus mechanics
@@toomanyprojects8473 lmao
im suprised he didn’t have more larger tools those Bus Repair Shops are Notorius for having very little Shop Equipment / Tools for the Mechanics to use the owners mentality is not to. spend or invest in tools as those are up to the Independent Contractors Wrenching on them a Family Memberof mine Managed a few shops untill he went to work for the State Full time he had one owner that wouldn’t. allow him to purchase a Scanner for the Engines. because of the Cost despite managing a Fleet of Several hundred Vehicles , the Mechanics wouldn’t purchase their own because of other Disbutes. with the Owner Practices My Family Member. finally. just moved on
I was actually very surprised by how many tools the shop had. More than I’ve ever seen in any other shop. A whole wall lined with very nice toolboxes and tools.
Mid torque babbyy. Thats on my wish list. I think the high torque guns are absolutely ridiculous lol way too much power for what most people need considering a m12 stubby will rip lug nuts off most commuter cars.
Yeah mid torque is plenty!
