This was my first time changing the low beam bulb on my 2016 Civic and I could not understand why I could not get the bulb out of the socket until you explained that you have to unplug it first. This is the opposite of how to replace the high beam bulb and the owners manual did not explain it.

Nice. My 07 Si you had to remove the fender liner to get to the low beam. I have a 19 Si now, so now it's going to be a cakewalk. Thanks for the video!

Omg. Thank you so much, brother/sir. I thought bumper needs to be pulled off n that's why i was hesitating to ask smn to change it coz they might break bumper clips. Then i found this video xenonpro website while i was looking for bulb size comes with honda (even though i found some fit on amazon) in order to make sure i order correct one. So so glad i watched this video. It seems so easy. Thank u very much. love you. Going to order n try to change high n low beam bulbs by myself coz it's yellow warm lights n i dont like em , recently i purchased fog lights bulb n got them replaced at body. Thanks for this video. I tried to replace my bulbs today with H11s from Sylvania, but they don't fit the connector. There are tabs protruding on either side. I'm trying to figure out whether I should just shave off the tabs and see if it will fit, or take them back to the store. Any thoughts?

Hello! Very helpful video. I am looking forward to change the high and low beam headlights of my Honda Civic Ex 2019 model to LED high and low beam lights and not to regular ones.

I am happy to hear that you found my video helpful. I actually would not recommend putting LED bulbs in. The housing is not made for LEDs and the light wouldn’t have the proper cut off. I tried them and it was blinding to oncoming cars. So I switched them back to Halogens.

fuckin right bud! just bought a civic today and went to drove home from work in the dark, fucking only 1 headlight works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! didnt test drive it at night or think it would be sold without a working headlight. smh. so anyways not bringing my car back for something like this i will do it myself. happy to see its this simple.

My car is a 1.6 Diesel, not that much room,I was told that the head light unit has to be removed and to do this the bumper also has to be removed, is that so, Thanks
Will this work with all kinds of bulbs? I want to change the factory bulbs (yellowish light) to a bright white one.
As long as it’s the same size/type bulb. Should work fine. May not be legal but should work fine.

What’s the bulb for the fog lights ?
is there LED Headlight for Honda Civic Hatchback 2020
I don’t think they came stock with LED’s. They have aftermarket LED bulbs but I wouldn’t recommend them. The housings aren’t made for LEDs and the light just spreads everywhere. Blinding oncoming cars. Just my opinion though.
Firestone quoted $450 to replace just 1 Headlight bulb; that it will take 2hrs to do that.

Why are the Honda Civic's low beams dark? It's even darker because the low beam sockets are black.

This was a video to show how to change the bulbs. The end result will vary based on the brightness of bulb you put in there but should not be much different than what you had, unless you swap them with LED's. Which I do not recommend.

I guess it’s easier to work on a Civic headlight bulbs compared to a Toyota Corolla of the same year, unless it’s the LED headlamps.

It’s really hard to unplug the cable from the bulb
