Great video! Looking to change my lights from halogen to led. I do have a question, might be dumb, but if I do switch, do you think it will drain the battery more?
Wow, it's that easy to change to LED bulbs, just one extra plug & swap the halogen with an LED? I've been considering doing this for mine. LED seems to illuminate more area, but I kinda like the warmer look of halogen & everyone's LED's blind the crap outta me.
Damn. Maybe if I changed out the high beams back when I changed the low beams, I wouldn't have hit that opossum on i95. In your example driving at night, I would've been able to see him coming sooner and acted quicker.
Just purchased mine for my Honda civic 2016 EXT! First time I tried the brightest headlights sold at AutoZone had some issues with bulbs burning out. Hope I won’t have that same issue with these.
I have a 2017 civic with fog lights, Im getting the h11 for my low beams and 9005 for the high beams. Do I get the same h11 pair for the fog lights. Honda says fog lights are h8?
It's interesting that you mentioned noise regarding the lighting. I get noise when I turn on my lights and I have a call over BT in the car. Is this an electrical issue (interference)?
The links in the description are for the sets of each. You get two low beam bulbs in one box and if you order the other one you get two high beam bulbs
Do the original bulb comes with dust cup or not ? From the video when you point at the led it seems the back of it sticks out and it isn’t protected by anything..what about dust, water and such ?! No issue so far ?
No dust covers. The bulbs come out of the back of the headlights and are sealed. There have been no issues with the bulbs. They are meant to run in harsh environments and covering them would make them overheat.
Hey bro can you help me out so i got these Cougar Motor Flagship H11 (H8, H9) LED Bulbs, Super Bright 20000LM 6500K Conversion Kit - Cool White, Halogen Replacement blubs it works but idk why it keeps draining my 2018 Honda civic battery, do you have any recommended light blubs that would work fine with this? i also used the led driver that came with it but idk if i should use that since i feel like thats draining my battey
There should be no way that they can drain your battery when the switch is off. When you turn on the switch it activates a relay which sends power to the headlight wires. I would think that you probably have another problem
They really aren't necessary. Unfortunately they no longer sell those on Amazon. I can't vouch for any other ones but they should all be basically the same thing. I'm running the LEDs on my new CRV without the emi filters because the LEDs create no noise at all. Very good quality
Man, I wish the LED’s I ordered were this easy. 2018 civic and I cannot get them to twist in. And if I get them in, the wire isn’t at 6 o clock, so the bulb is not aligned properly.
I had the same sort of issue, could not remember was it high or low beam. My could not go in at all. Quality of the light is one thing, does not fit like oem is another.
Agree I Had them and work really well with our honda lenses its the top LED that work well
Crispy White with a Nice cut off and no glare

NO, it's the same wattage
No. Less if anything

Is the high beam in halogen yellow stock also?

Remember to use gloves. Oils from your hands will burn out the bulb early.
Update? How they putting up now?
Do they have fog lights too?

Gonna cop thanks for the demo
Thanks for the video very nicely done.

try a filter, did it fix the issue?
@@raczyk it's been some time sense I watched this. A filter where? A screen? Or are you talking about a filter for the blinker fluid?
very nice is the LED are 55w or 50 w
Does anyone know if these could fit a 2018 Honda Clarity ? I read it’s “universal fit” , I’m just unsure.
Should ya
looks amazing, great!
Question: it says it comes in a pack of 2 bulbs. Im trying to order 2 low beam leds, so would it come with 2 low beam or 1 low and one high beam?
The links in the description are for the sets of each. You get two low beam bulbs in one box and if you order the other one you get two high beam bulbs
Quick question. Upon installing my LED conversion. The LED are on VERTICAL way.
Does it supposed to go VERTICAL or HORIZONTAL
Vertical but doesn't matter really on a projector
It's been 2 years since you made this video. How are they holding up?
Great
.still work
Is the 2024 Luxter compatible with 2017 honda civic?
Yes
did you notice a lower level of light output after 30mins? some brands brightness drop dramatically
No. Have had them for over a year too
Excellent video. I'll try it

@@JackofAllMasterofNone I didn’t mean to cover them but different vehicles do have dust covers so that’s why i was asking..thanks!

@@JackofAllMasterofNone the watt consumption is 70 watts does that affect my battery lifespan?
Do LED work good in reflector high beam of honda civic
They do. Very bright 🌞
Do you have a link to those EMI filters, or will any set work?

does the Auto hight beam system still work with these ?
Yes

Buy these. Problem solved. 😉
Are they h11(LB) or Hb3/9005 (HB) ?

Will these headlight and high beam bulbs work on my 2017 Civic EX-L??
Yes
@@JackofAllMasterofNone Does the 2017 Civic EX-L have projector or reflector stock housing? Thoughts on putting LEDs in them?
What's the
Appropriate angle?
Vertical
Or
Horizontal?
Vertical
Brightness seems better but projection seems poor on both high beam and low beam
Hmmmmm. I got a ton more output and projection
Then what led lights do you recommend
Hopefully you reply... but will there be any dash lights that turn on
No. There is no canbus error when doing this. Plug and play
