- I regret to inform everyone that my $400,000 Ferrari F8 and rental minivan with only 5,000 miles on it has recently burned down to a pile of ash. This was a complete accident and I originally intended on filming so many more things with the car, but this was a great lesson to do even more crazy things before your car catches on fire. @@thebusbums2825 Not the brakes, the hot exhaust runs through the entire bottom of the vehicle. It's why all the fires started from under the cars. Ferrari is rear engined, hence why the fire was at the rear. The hot exhaust hangs low enough to light that dried out corn field like a box of matches.

Not crazy at all. I would of expected it in that old dried up dusty ass field knowing he was probably pushing that car before that an that engine was probably smoking hot an the breaks was probably hot. It was bound to happen when the dried plant an plant dust started to build.
Also it’s a video. Who’s to say one didn’t have a wireless igniter not shown an even known by the others. Chance it really just happened. It’s not the first time vehicles have caught fields on fire just like that.
But it’s not unheard of also for people to do dumb ass shit for RUclips videos.
Just ask the FAA an the dude that recorded himself jumping out of his plane at altitude, only to let it glide an crash down on purpose for a video.

fyi, all ferraris have a fire extinguisher strapped to the passenger floorboard. They either didn't grab it on purpose, or didn't grab it while they panicked.
Not sure a single extinguisher woul've helped. Problem was the flammable dry plant material and superhot engine/brakes. Driving them off field semi burning would have maybe saved something.

I was thinking that If they had of kept driving and drove back onto a paved road, that may of saved the two cars.
Growing up on a farm, you learn how easily a hot muffler or exhaust pipe can set a field on fire. I’m a little surprised Cody wasn’t prepared for that possibility.
