Basking in the sun on the calm waters of Aransas Bay at Rockport Beach. The water temperature today was 85.8° I suspect shallow parts of the water were warmer because it felt like a jacuzzi. Rockport is a very pleasant town north of Corpus Christi. The water here is very shallow for a long time before it drops off and the water is very calm making it a great place for all ages and all people. Some people set up their chairs in the water to sunbathe. Once you get in you don’t want to get out. As always it was windy, sorry about the wind noise I didn’t have my wind blocker because I didn’t want to get it wet.

Very nice area of the Texas Gulf Coast. Very similar to the West Coast of Florida but not as developed. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting, I’ve never been to Florida. Compared the California the Texas Coast is basically wild.

@@cyclingtexas1670 Yes, both California and Florida are very developed. The East Coast of Florida is overdeveloped but the west coas of Floridat is just developed. California South West coast is also overdeveloped.
Texas Gulf Coast is very laid back for sure. Very nice...

Glad you were able to enjoy our beach! I would suggest you try to go to Florida sometime. The Beaches there with white sand blows ours away!
