- After many years of searching, I present you the best version of every surviving Action Man advert known to have been show on TV. Thank you to all the Action Man community
Absolutely brilliant ! I wished. I had gotten a whole these great toys in 1970's America. I had the G.I Joes series, but they weren't as detailed and military as Action Man.
“Rom meets Action Man. Why? Only YOU know!” This is what toys are missing now.

Fabulous....these ads make you wish it was the seventies again so you could get everything when it first came out...the ads really show the potential of the figures uniform and equipment. 53 with a fair sized collection and always a fan

I started collecting Action men about a year ago,built up not a bad collection so far.

Action Man is up next to be brought to the big screen, Barbie got a movie so it makes sense our “Greatest Hero of Them All” can have one too. Maybe have its premise be a War/Spy Action film, inspired by both the Palitoy & Hasbro eras of Action Man.
There was a comic book a few years ago. They are currently making a slinky movie, so I can see action man appearing soon.

To this day I still have four palitoy lightweight land rovers and some marx jeeps in the garden shed!!! Can remember buying basic mint boxed gripping hands soldier figures back in 1985 at a quid each during a local CO OP shop sale.,all these years later and people are now converting those scorpion tanks to have full radio control as 1/6 scale action figures have made a comeback in recent years.

I’m sure the voice of some of the ads were by Patrick Allen and English actor of the 70’s / 80’s he was in The sea wolves war film

There's one missing which I haven't seen since it was broadcast on TV about 40 years ago;
At the end the voice-over guy says, "With Eagle Eyes and hands that grip, he's ALWAYS ready for action!"
Can't track that one down.
Thats interesting to know. Must have been late 70s as I believe nearly all 80s ones have been found.

I have a few, I might put them together next year. My knowledge of action force isn't as a good as Action Man

Great collection, but it's a shame the captions are so intrusive.
😮pause...in the opening commercial we are shown a pilot in a cockpit...was this available or just a mockup for advertising 🤔
Mock up , but there are official Action MAN planes available. One in green, the other in red.
I remember getting a talking eagle eyes commando in 1984 with a helicopter, jeep and loads of bits!
Imagine those adverts being filmed today - it would be "action non binary lgbtq" smh.
The intruder was RACIST for going after Tom Stone if you ask me!
