I heard a lot on this and this is best for enterprise communication so far and I thank you for doing this test. A most received complain on this headset is stinking smell over the time from fabric and not sure this is really exists. However there is one best competitor released by Jabra. I appreciate if you do a review for Jabra elite 85h.
Loved the review. The chroma keying for your backdrop could be cleaner with better lighting and software editing. But everything else looks good.

Sidetone telephony from a mobile iPhone?
Were you guys using the usb dongle during the audio test? Because I've seen other reviews where the mic volume was way lower and way too robotic than it sounds here

Hello Alan. Thanks for your question. No, the Plantronics Voyager 8200 headset does not support 7.1 surround sound.
I personally don't recommend this new version of Plantronics Voyager 8200 UC. They have sidetone (you can hear yourself when speaking) - it has weird electro-sound and there is no option to turn it off. There is only low / medium / high settings. Even on low it is pretty loud and annoying. I have headaches because of it and it is really irritating me. Older version, maybe only because of older firmware have this sidetone off or not available, but there is no available downgrade of the firmware. Hopefully they will implement a possibility to turn it off otherwise it is not usable for calls.
