I’m going to start doing my wife’s nails. Already ordered a 30000 rpm drill and light for drying. Now to practice for a few months so she won’t have to worry about getting her nails done anymore, I got her lol
So after watching my fiancee struggle doing her nails after a recent fibromyalgia diagnosis I started looking up tutorials on how to help her. I used to work on a lot of model cars so i figured the detailing and the water slide nail art would be easy for me. But now i want to move on to acrylic and this video was super informative! Thank you and you now have a new subscriber!

As a retired nail technician, I can say you did an EXCELLENT job in showing how to do nails. Some people think it so easy, unless you have complete knowledge of your product it is difficult.
It's definitely far from easy for a beginner especially when you must get the powder to monomer perfect and showing an efile in a beginners tutorial is a big no no unless the course includes the file part which is very unlikely it comes included as thats an entire separate course and qualification in itself

I've never gotten my nails done. Through the years, when I worked, I couldn't have nice nails. I worked in a nursing home and we were told not to wear any rings unless they were your engagement ring and wedding band. As for our nails, the elderly's skin is extremely fragile. Therefore, long nails were a hazard to our residents. Now that I'm older and out of work because of dialysis, I can go all out on my nails. I want to do all this at home. Could you please do a short on how to repair natural nails with acrylic. Thank you, Casandra 💅
After years and years of growing up watching acrylic videos and nail art vids, I finally bought myself an acrylic kit! You video was clear and easy to understand, and though my nails may need more filing than yours do, I did successfully apply acrylic and I can’t wait to rock my new set ❤️🥳

Yes! I tried to do my own acrylic overlay a couple weeks into quarantine and I, of course, didn't score my file before use. Resulted in a deep, nasty, painful cut right above my cuticle area😢It was awful😩
I’m 14 and just ordered my first acrylic set, wish me luck! Alright, here’s a update. The set came and it was pretty good but I quickly found out the monomer had mma in it so I had to dispose of it accordingly. However everything else in the set was pretty good including the brushes. I’m currently looking for a inexpensive monomer online! The set also came with a QR code that you could scan and win a reward. Omg the best vid and info ever!! I HATE going to nail salons in the states because they are all just so unprofessional and sloppy always eating or on their phones while doing my nails, and expensive af. I think of it as getting good customer service too not just the nails!
This is gonna be so helpful for me. I am only 11 years old and I like nails. I’m tired of press on nails and the fact that this video is five years ago it’s very helpful

I really appreciate this video, I bought everything I need to do my own nails. I still need a few more items, but I will master doing my nails & save lots of money
I really want the to work. I have been interested in doing it for some time. My first try could not get the powder to bed to my brushes just turning hard in the tub. My second try was a little better but tried to use the file but it took all the color off and made holes in the acrylic design. Please help me
My first attempt ever and I did on myself after practicing on nails was harder then I thought but I give myself a C-. Got a lot to learn but loved how they came out for my first try.
try it you guyssss no one ever starts off great lol and that’s super sweet that you’d even think of doing that (if you don’t want to practice on yourself or her they make fake fingers and whatnot)
I start doing nails Monday because I’m in beauty school and our next curriculum is Nails, I’m not that nervous because I’ve been studying for years but I’m excited I’ll at least be able to do it and know the basics properly. You did really good at explaining and teaching the tips and tricks because they show the advanced way first before showing tips and tricks.
After several years of being unhappy with the mail technicians here in the Orlando area, I’ve decided to learn to do my own nails. Watching your tutorials gives me the knowledge and confidence that I can do this!
I got my nails done once and they were pretty damaged after. Is there anyway you can show us or tell us what damage is normal and what damage is excessive? It’ll help me decide if I should go back there or go somewhere else.
Thank you for doing it on a actual person love those colored powders. Everything you did was very clear and concise and definitely got me looking into doing my own nails too 💞
Thanks for sharing this vid! I've tried doing acrylics myself in the past and stopped because I couldn't get the acrylics by the cuticle area on properly it always came on too thick and I always had problems shaping and buffing to make it look smooth. But now that I've seen this I'm gonna make another attempt and see how they turn out... Thanks a mil 😊
I’m 20 and I got my nails done professionally for the first time recently and the person doing them was so kind but the nails were not good and my fingers were already hurting so I didn’t say anything and I just ended up paying, tipping, and leaving. I just ordered a full nail kit from amazon along with some other goodies I thought i’d need. thank you for this!!! super informative and explains everything in a way someone who doesn’t do nails can understand (:

Lol im looking to be a nail tech too!
@@msgirly6827 me too ✋
It’s 4am and I just want to say thank you to Kiaraaaa. This was extremely helpful as I’ll be launching my nail business soon💕
Thank you I am only 11 but I’m very good at painting nails when I grow up I wanna be a nail artist but I’m gonna practice on acrylic nails when I’m older I watched this tutorial to see the products and what you should do thank you!
Omg the best vid and info ever!! I HATE going to nail salons in the states because they are all just so unprofessional and sloppy always eating or on their phones while doing my nails, and expensive af.
I think of it as getting good customer service too not just the nails!
Been trying to figure out how to do my girls nails, thank you for this video. Hopefully ill get better lol.
This was sooo pureee byeee
This is gonna be so helpful for me. I am only 11 years old and I like nails. I’m tired of press on nails and the fact that this video is five years ago it’s very helpful
Same
Aww, that’s amazing! 💖 We’re so glad you found the video helpful-it’s never too early to start exploring your love for nails! Keep practicing and having fun with it.💅 Let us know if you ever have questions-we’re here to cheer you on! 😊
I really appreciate this video, I bought everything I need to do my own nails. I still need a few more items, but I will master doing my nails & save lots of money
Can you tell me how its going... Is it so difficult to do it for yourself and how much the items costs you
I really want the to work. I have been interested in doing it for some time. My first try could not get the powder to bed to my brushes just turning hard in the tub. My second try was a little better but tried to use the file but it took all the color off and made holes in the acrylic design. Please help me
Man. My technicians just hurt me and I take it. Didn’t know it wasn’t supposed to hurt.
Yeah it should never hurt. 🧐
Same
Yeah it shouldn’t hurt ever get a new nail technician please lol
My first attempt ever and I did on myself after practicing on nails was harder then I thought but I give myself a C-. Got a lot to learn but loved how they came out for my first try.
You’re so informative and your voice is so calming. Thank you for the video!!
This was a very straight to the point, easy to follow video thank you so much.
"Hey Bestie"
And that made my midnight better
I wanna learn how to do this for my girlfriend but I feel like it’s so hard😂🥴
That's very sweet of you. You could always try it out! Practice makes perfect! 💕
Sameee😓😣
try it you guyssss no one ever starts off great lol and that’s super sweet that you’d even think of doing that (if you don’t want to practice on yourself or her they make fake fingers and whatnot)
My husband offered to learn for me, haha! That is so sweet! You should!
Even when the nail salons open after COVID they’re still going to be out of business because we’re all PROFESSIONAL NAIL TECHS NOW😂🤣🤦🏽♀️💀

Right I'm never going back
Just hope that you all aren't JUST "doing nails" and actually practicing proper sanitation and sterilization methods.
Jenai Glover if your doing it to yourself only u don’t have to do all that a lot
But if u have clients then after each one
Queen RiRi right sis
I'm 12 and I want to become a nail technician this video helped me out so much
I'm sure you will be amazing one day! xoxo
@@KiaraSkyNails I want to be a nail technician too. Im 11 and for some reason im good with the kiss kits.
Start practicing now, and you will be an expert upon entry ! :D
I got my nails done once and they were pretty damaged after. Is there anyway you can show us or tell us what damage is normal and what damage is excessive? It’ll help me decide if I should go back there or go somewhere else.
Amelia Barton I would just say to make sure the technician doesn’t over file them and don’t pull them off soak them
Amelia Barton your nails shouldn’t really be damaged 🤔 maybe looking a little dry but that’s about it..What kind of damage are you seeing?
Amelia Barton May I ask how you removed them?
Miss B. I cut them down and soaked them and they easily peeled off.
Casey M my normal nail was peeling quite a lot and was thin in many places. Like they filled them way too much.
First time here
Woman: "hey bestie "
Me:"Hi bestie , sorry im late , I got tea also nice nails"
Thank you for doing it on a actual person love those colored powders. Everything you did was very clear and concise and definitely got me looking into doing my own nails too 💞
Why am I only seeing this tutorial!! This is so good. So detailed and informative.
My nail teacher did not explain this well, you did perfectly.
i did my very own acrylic nails for the first time today thank you so much for the tips it really helped me a lot 😀
“Hey bestie!”
Me: well that aged like fine wine didn’t it?
Nah people have been using bestie for a while no one just cared until Tik tok did
Huh
You encourage me to want to learn more about doing nails from you.I will continue to follow you. Thank you 🎉
Aaah i already smiled when she said “hey besties”
This was explained so well, really easy to understand I especially like the part about how much monomer to put on your brush it totally makes sense 😀😀
Yay! Glad it helped✨
Just want to know what monomer did u used?
Am I the only person that just likes watching these types of videos ;-; by the way your so good at that!!
I learned how to do my own eyebrows now.. now ima try n do my own nails! Next is to learn to do my own pedicure!! I’m excited 💜
Thanks a mil 😊
how’d it turn out???
I love this! I want to start doing my own nails because $45 every 2 weeks gets expensive. Where do you get the tips from?
amazon sister
This is a fantastic tutorial. Extremely informative, well together and easy to follow. I cannot wait to try it on my daughter.
To the 1% of people who see this have a great day/night and I wish you all the best stay safe and be grateful for everything in you life ❤️
You too

Thank you! Your so helpful! This is the best tutorial I've gone through more than 60+ videos trying to find one.
I hate to tell you this but that place you went to was not "professional"
