Livvy Lou no duh lmao, but I’ve also seen where they have full tips that cover your whole nail and they put like gel where the glue goes so some people do it like that, idk
I admire how you actually went step by step and showed how to actually grab the acrylic with the brush and the proper amount. Really really helped me out thank you so much. I've seen others and I was still not really understanding it but your video broke it down really good.
My daughter watched this with me and she said she wanted me to leave a comment saying you did a great job and she hopes she can learn like you one day. Lol Super random but she insisted I leave a comment ❤️
I just watched this with my 4 yr old daughter too , she said mom you can't leave a heart ? 😂 she think it's tiktok, she leaves a heart for everyone there 😁❤❤
Okay I just want to give you props because no other person has said what you said about pressing the brush down into the monomer to get rid of the bubbles and then turn the wet side of the brush over into the powder!! props to you!!!! thanks so much!!!
Wooooow 😮 this was awesome. I had been getting my nails done nut haven't in about 3years. They always glued the nail to my skin and got the acrylic on my fingers and that stuff would burn. My fingers stayed sore. I want to get my nails done again but I think I will order he kit myself and start doing them. Thanks for this video ladies. MAGNIFICENT 😊
This is my first time actually watching a video that's not so complicated. Love love love how you showed everything so nice step by step! I am a beginner and I'm definitely going to continue to watch your videos🖤
I’ve never had a manicure before so I was wondering why do they remove the shine... it seems really damaging or does it make it better when it grows back...? I don’t understand
plsbreakup If you were just getting a manicure you would not have to dull the surface of the nail. This procedure is only for the application of nail tips and acrylic nails.
Bling Bling The BS OF THE ISS I want the acrylic nail. So I heard it has something to do with the oil on ur nail..? I’m not sure what that means but what will happen if I don’t remove the shine... and it’ll grow back eventually right? And how long does it take to grow back... sorry for all the questions I just want it with my friend to see what it’s like but I’m scared it’ll ruin my nature nails
I have been studying nails and this really helped I have a tutor to help me and she has helped me and so have you thank you 😊 Edit:OMG YOU HEART MY COMMENT THIS HAS MADE MY SAY 😊!!!!
delightful demo HOWEVER perhaps it would be better if the background was not white--there's a glare that makes it hard to see where the nail edge. It's a small detail but...
this was explained so well and to the point that I'm so excited to start my own nails all over again. I see all of the mistakes I've made that has caused my nails to lift. THANK YOU SO MUCH! definitely subscribing.
Thumbs up for this video. She really explained every step by step so clearly. Well done for doing this video. You have helped me a lot as I am still learning to do my nails at home.
You show so well how to do the acrylics I’ve tried for years to get the cuticles I didn’t go to school for it I just watched as mine were done by professionals but I just haven’t been able to get the monomer right for the acrylic powder I keep trying and still have some trouble and watching you I saw that your brush want as wet as I get mine so I’ll try to get it right after your show. Thank you for showing how to do the nails Pam
In the Craft Room I’ve never had a manicure before so I was wondering why do they remove the shine... it seems really damaging or does it make it better when it grows back...? I don’t understand
You did such a good job. My 11 year old daughter is going to start doing nails and you were her first tutorial and she said you did a terrific job. Thank you. So basic and simple and easy to follow along. Thank you. 🪬🦋🎶
absolutely amazing video. I'm licenced Cosmetologist 30 yrs watches a lot of acrylic applications and this is by far the best! I just got into doing my own nail since my career concentration as a Color Specialist I don't have a lot of experience in nails . I always struggle with my non dominant hand when doing my own nails, this video is now going to be my go to the next time I do my full set. Thanks a bunch for making an amazing teaching video. I also subscribed!
You are simply amazing! I live in a small town in Arkansas....babbby you just changed the game! As the old cliché goes... You know better, you do better!" Amazing tutorial!
Thank you for this tutorial. I used to do my own nails in the 90s, but I have gotten out of practice. I want to be able to do my left hand (since I am right handed) better and faster.

Since KS has come out with dip powder I've stopped going to the salon. I been watching nail videos since I bought the system and can't believe how many bad tech that are out there. Great video to learn how to do acrylic nails.
Thanks , I watched one of your other vid.s before I tried two nails I use for playing music. It all worked out fine. I learned even more from this one ,Thank you! Excellent tutorial done in a friendly way.
Had my nails done two weeks ago by a new tech since I moved to another city. Wound up with a ton of glue between my thumb and the tip and it burned for two days while I tried to gently separate my skin from the underside of the nail. She didn't burp the brush either so I've got some lovely little bubbles in the acrylic. S i g h. Real tempted to just bite the bullet and learn to do my nails at home.
Gugulethu I love it when tutorials explain so thoroughly to save me the trouble of learning by mistake. Often if I don't know the reason for something I just plow ahead and "DOH!!!" Thank you, KS cutie! 😊
Kiara Sky Nails I’ve never had a manicure before so I was wondering why do they remove the shine... it seems really damaging or does it make it better when it grows back...? I don’t understand
Honestly this is my favorite video so far because I want to start doing acrylics on people as a beginner and I have watched like 10 videos and this one is my favorite and this is my 3rd time watching it 😃
PLEASE make a list of ALL THE ITEMS YOU USED!! It sucks that I have no idea what primer you used, or the ph balance , the two things that aren’t in my little kit!! 🙁🙁🙁🙁 Definitely not hating though, your video is very informative and just long enough that I don’t feel like I have to skip through 90% of it. First time trying to do acrylics myself, so wish me luck! Although, I do have to go back to Sally’s cuz really don’t want them to lift. Which really sucks because I just put curlers in my hair and used all my nice hair products 🥴... love your video!
By the way, I rambled hoping to catch your eye so that you MIGHT see it or even 🤞reply 🤗🤗 and this reply to my own comment is for that reason also, haha please don’t judge me
Hi babe! We list all of the items used in the description of the video. We do not have a primer that we currently carry so that is why it isn't listed! We recommend going to your local beauty supply store for advice on the best one ☺️

Livvy Lou no duh lmao, but I’ve also seen where they have full tips that cover your whole nail and they put like gel where the glue goes so some people do it like that, idk
Mylo249 oh that maybe why it does work 😂
You should make your background a different color other than white. It was kinda hard to see what was the background from the nail.
Hailey Clevenger I thought I was the only one struggling
I thought the same

Removing the shine helps with natural oils that build up and prevent polishes from adhering correctly on your nails. When done correctly, a gentle buff and file will never damage your nails. I want to start to learn how to do acrylic nails because it seems like something I would be interested in. Does anyone know of a good, cheap starter kit that has everything included? Also needs to be able to ship to Canada. If anyone does, can you please reply and add the link

Yh please do a video on how to remove acrylic from skin if it mistakenly touches the finger
The. Marieedion you can usually just chip it off your skin if it isn’t sticking that much or use nail polish remover, you can also soak your hand in hot/warm water
This also helped me to learn more about acrylic extension ❤️❤️
I have never seen the first bead of three done bottom up I have always seen on videos and in person middle done first? Is this a preference
Hi Robbie, our goal is to show several different techniques so everyone can find what works best for them :)
Kiara Sky Nails ok I'm glad there are other ways to try just had never seen done before thanks for all the videos!
