*HELL YEAH THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST UNIQUE, AUTHENTIC, INNOVATIVE ARTISTS LEFT ALIVE. SO THANKFUL TO BE ON THE SAME TIMELINE AS THIS MAN.*
I saw this like about a week ago oh my god I'm traveling with him from now on. I heard the emotional journey. Thought he was a prick before but now NO his creating a deeper path for music.
Incredible tune.
@@onealspence8548 everyone hates him because of his public opinions but they have to ignore that and actually take time to listen to his music and they'd love him.
Dunno what happened to Kanye now. I’m not even the biggest Kanye fan but he’s amazing compared to modern artists/celebrity. Remember when celebrity was standing out? Now it’s standing in.
🙏🙏🙏🙏
#Facts on that ❤️
He's proof autotune can be used as an instrument... Kanye mastered it
Him and la flame
@@callumedgar418 and T Pain
T pain do it before him, just saying
@@lucasdistasio_ true but Kanye did it in his own way, in a more simplistic way. Pain’s was more soulful autotune, Ye’s was more minimalistic, which is what people like Travis have ran with

The only artist that can make me feel this amount of emotion through his work
Absolutely felt the whole of it wowwwwww
Dat whole part
Plenty of artists can get to my emotions. But he’s the only hip-hop/rap artist that can do it for me.
FucKing rigHt!!!
Man when Yeezus came out, everyone was calling this dude a nutcase and I was bumping that shit on repeat.
We never thanked Michael Jackson for motivating kanye to sing!
People actually debate if Drake is better than Kanye.
No question, Kanye is a creative genius. We will truly appreciate him when he's gone.
Why is it a debate? We literally wouldn't have Drake without Kanye
@@tamarrtolbert9562 I know right. Kanye is so clear of Drake its actually funny. People stay ignorant

I’ve been trying to convert my friends who don’t really see Kanye as anything other than a pop star. It’s frustrating that they can’t see this man is a contemporary symphonic composer in the medium of Hip Hop. Every note is intentional. Every word, deliberate and crafted. It’s art in its purest form. What a shame. But I’m glad to see the comments are full of a bunch of disciples of Yeezus. I think my next tattoo with be a Yeezus piece.
@gsuhz Kanye shits on your favorite rappers foh
If you enjoy something that doesn't hurt you or others .... Then the opinions of other's is irrelevant.
You do realize the vocoder effect on his voice is set on a specific scale (or maybe even a pre defined score), so that when he yells on the mic like a goat, it sounds "ok" ? You guys.... Brrrr.. You'll reconsider, or maybe not, do what you want !
@@someoneacomputer1905 we already said it - everything he does, every note, sound, effect is intentional. He wants you to feel something (if your ears are ready for it). In that particular case, He wanted you to feel the "agony of years of frustration", which perfectly blends with the sounds you hear. You'll reconsider, or maybe not, but I want you to enrich your senses!
@@denilsonmoreira8667 if i get bleach on my tshirt
5:17 I get chills every time at that part. The screams really work
I know it's awesome. I wish he did those screams on the studio recording.
And THATS how you use autotune

crazy
I want a loop of that legendary
It’s so nuts how this is live. What a hell of a performance. Insane.
ikr how did he rap/sing so damn well.
@@alandeutsch9987 he proves that auto tune is a legit instrument that he has mastered. It takes serious focus and pipes to make a scream like that sound that good. The live record scratches are so good. It’s just my favorite performance he’s ever done.
@@VeryLovingCat i think so too. one must also commend the recording setup as well
@@VeryLovingCatisn’t the point that he’s not actually screaming to make it sound good? The autotune does it for him
@alandeutsch9987 nothing about this is technically difficult. It's a good song, but it's essentially karaoke for him. He's not even playing an instrument. Watch someone playing fingers type guitar while singing, or better yet, try it.
This legit could’ve been the take that made the album. It’s rare a live performance sounds that great.
Facts; The mix is immaculate for a live show and his flow is fuckin' perfect as well.
4:47 - the look to the engineer to blast the autotune to the max is just bliss
absolute rock star
This is still one of the hardest songs ever made by a human being and it’s crazy how underrated it is honestly
Bro the last part is fucken heaven holy shit
I agree.
Very Under-Rated.
People hated Kanye because he was Anti-music of the mainstream back then, only to realize now, how underrated he actually is and how his music was ahead of his time.
This track 30 years ahead straight up, can’t think of one track since 2013 to match the emotional impact it can leave on u
All my friends hated this song when it came they was at the concert like nah this shit fire
I just heard Yeezus for the first time last week. I was one of those people that said he didn't make anything good after MBDTF. Then someone on insta said Yeezus was the best album ever made....and i'm like...hold tf up. I go listen to it. The soundscapes. The lyrics. Everything. Solid ass album. The asian line with the teriyaki really made me laugh. The civil rights fist line also just shocked me. This nigga has the audacity. I love it.
he's an innovator in the purest form. i will always want him to be different from the mainstream - it's what makes him so special and it's who he is
Don’t know how you can call Kanye Underrated, he’s literally one of the biggest artists in the world, has won many Grammys and has had massive hit singles? Not like he’s still just a beat maker for roc a fella the bloke is fucking massive
I remember they deleted this performance on youtube. I wasn't happy when i couldn't find it. 8 years later.. Let's search for the performance again. Released like 20 days ago. YEES!

This one of my favorite singular live performances ever. the screams give me chills. more specifically going back to the calm "and breathe" after screaming his heart out. that is how continuing on after a hard life change can be. you have to keep breathing but sometimes its hard
I remember the 2013 version of me didn’t like yeezus cause I was super into Eminem and all I cared for was super complex lyrical rap. Then around 2015 I started diving back into Kanye’s discography and realized what a genius he is. I’d like to go back in time and slap myself sometimes haha.
@@OzymandiasPH so mad cause I missed out on the Yeezus tour. Glad I was able to go to the Saint Pablo tour tho. 🙏
@@OzymandiasPH same with me . Just started listening to ye and realized how good he is and only dense lyrical doesn't mean everthing
Same! And some of my friends are still the same
the thing is, when you look into it kanye's music is way more complex than eminem's. Eminem can cram a shit ton of words into a short amount of time which is cool, but you can't actually understand what he's saying and even if you do there's no apparent meaning to it. ye's music on the other hand, is slower but so much more deliberate and meaningful. each word is intentional and carries a deeper meaning. this song for example samples "strange fruit" which is a very melancholic song about lynching and slavery, and he uses that deep message to talk about his own personal struggles with some unidentified girl or perhaps his inner demons. At this time, Ye was struggling to get into the fashion business and there was a lot of anger pent up inside of him. the whole purpose of the album is basically Ye finding himself through Kim. It's a genius masterpiece work of art. I highly recommend the dissect podcast season 8 for you to learn more about why Yeezus is so genius.
imagine listening to nemnem past 2003

*ALL TIME GOATED YE PERFORMANCE*
So happy that i`m alive to see such a great artists like Kanye, Rocky and Travi$
Best live Kanye performance. He puts so much emotion to his singing. This has to be his most slept on song!
just pure raw emotion
I used to think this song was deep, now in 23' i'm thinking i only got that part from the title. Blood on the leaves has a deeper meaning connected to his roots, yet the song is about his relationship with women, the industry and fame. To express those feelings of what the titel says Vs the emotions on this song, maybe to him it feels like the same, but i know it's not even close. The album Being his most unappreciated one i still admire the sounds that come out of it, RAGE, Pain, frustration with a devotion and love to the craft. He delivers no matter what and that is not what everyone can do.
One of the greatest artists of all time, and my idol for about a decade. It's a shame he never took responsibility for his mental heath. His legacy is permanently torched now for everyone not remaining in, what is at this point, his cult. F*** Kanye West.
The emotion in this song. This is a true fucking artist. God bless Ye!
Dudes, let's witness and enjoy genius at work 🤩
The ending gives me goosebumps, Kanye is a genius
Everything about this preformace was exceptional in every way- including the videography. The shot of Kanye "screaming" into the mic towards the end was as if paying homage to Billie Holiday. Just perfection
Didn’t realise just how good that final verse is before watching this. The whole story of the song is crazy. “Two thousand dollar bag with no cash in your purse” sums up it all up. GOAT

The Dunning-Kruger Effect describes how people with low ability in a given area overestimate their ability. Kanye West does not fall victim to this. Kanye West is every bit as talented as he believes he is.
he's just on the other end of the chart where it curves back up
The record scratching is so dope. Would love it if there was an alternate version on spotify with them
