Another great video! On behalf on builders in the NW, thank you for your attention to code requirements and holding tradesmen accountable. Personally, I’ve seen quality in all trades go rapidly downhill in pursuit of the dollar bill. I’m not saying there aren’t good craftsmen out there that care passionately about their craft….they are just more and more rare. I was fortunate enough to learn from an old coot who would always say “if you wouldn’t cut corners on your own house, don’t cut them on his house!” Right is right, code is code. You don’t have to agree with it, you just have to do it! Thanks man!
Thanks for the heads up. My framers just shot a nail through my plumbing at the slab. :-( I am off to buy nail guards this weekend and I will be buying 16 gauge. Thank you.

Depends on the state
That's true...thanks for watching!!
I had my basement framed and one of the studs is not nailed at the top and it wobbles. Can I use an L bracket to secure the stud?
I don’t see a problem with that.
Is stacking two 20 gauge plates allowable?
I don't see a problem with it...thanks for watching!!
