HOTD is also an HBO series ORIGINAL and it airs concurrently both MAX stream and HBO cable at 9pm. It's the same thing with these 4 shows (Lantern, Harry Potter, Dune, Penguin). My first thought after seeing Alys in episode 3 was that she might be a ghost. She doesn't bow when the rest of the family does, and no one says anything. And the next time we see her is after Daemon's vision. I'm also wondering how much of Daemon's visions are things that are haunting him personally that he likes to keep buried inside, and how much of it is Alys messing with him. I feel like that might make a difference on how I read his character and actions going forward. I haven't read Fire and Blood, so I'm basing all of this off of the show
Team Black would have to take BOTH male heirs Aegon AND Aemond in order for the war to be over. Just because they killed Aegon, Aemond (in their minds) would be next in line. So they would actually kill both for Rhaenyra to win the war and rule as Queen. Idk why people think she only would have to kill Aegon for the war to be over
On the off chance you are seeing this, the whole HBO Originals instead of Max Originals for The Penguin and all the others, it doesnt actually change anything, it will be like HotD right now, Meaning it will air on HBO and release on Max at the same time it is airing, basically there is no change aside from the fact that it will be airing on television (HBO channel) and that there is "HBO" branding on these shows now instead of "Max" branding....It's confusing because of the naming scheme I know, but it will still be available on Max as it is airing on HBO, just like HotD right now.

Following up on my comment, if we can believe Melisandre can “speak to kings long dead” makes me think that characters like her (there could be others) have spoke to Aegon, Jaeherys, Viserys? In other words, Aegon’s dream may not be some lost secret. Tin Foil - as you all mentioned, this show is really going into the lore with Healena and Alys Rivers. Daemon is having dreams or visions of Rhaenyra and Laena. Why not have him have a vision of Viserys and speak to him? Why not throw in the Lady Rhea Royce for fun (just kidding). ***Major spoiler**** that might explain his blog post wrt dragons Be warned: So in the blog post where he talks about dragons and their moving about he mentions the Vale. This is most certainly his way of announcing his displeasure about Rhaena being given Nettles' plot and claiming Sheepstealer when she's in the Vale later this season. This change falls in line with amalgamating certain characters like early Game of Thrones did and really isn't a huge deal in the grand scheme of the Dance and the casual audience who haven't read the books won't think much of Rhaena claiming the dragon. It is going to piss off a lot of book readers though because Nettles is a cool character and I'll need to hear from Ryan Condal himself why he decided to merge the two characters. Back to George: I think him creating Nettles was a little seed he planted in Fire and Blood so he could elaborate on the dragon bond in the upcoming books. PS; I know this from a source who has not let me down thus far. Also they planted some hints in S1 regarding show Rhaena's future trajectory.

Something like he grew up in NJ not knowing who his dad was, and then later discovered that the man he had known as his grandfather wasn’t really his grandfather.
