In short he has earned emense respect among his fellow colleagues .

Arijit Singh is the greatest since 2011 (debut) in current generation, so the singers before 2011 and after 2011 respect him a lot that till now many singers have given him the tribute. This is a very big thing to receive a tribute at such small age from other great singers.
I still remember his struggle from 2005, he was 6th in fame gurukul(a reality show) and got his bollywood debut in 2011,(Dil sambhal ja zara) it was beautiful song but didn't get much recognition similarly in 2012 he sang raabta but didn't got much credit but in 2013 he sang 6 songs in movie Aashiqui 2 that movie became hot because of songs and he became overnight start and after that every year he sings around 30 bollywood songs and all are hit, in 2014 he won Filmfare for best male playback singer for tum hi ho from Aashiqui 2 then after that leaving 2015 he won Filmfare every year in 16,17,18,19,20

Efra remembers "Janam janam" but hasn't heard the original version u saw it in gima awards and that version was slightly changed the original is much better, during the medley Arijit skipped the high notes part but still the best one was at MTV live performance(it is better than original also) u have to see it
