I don't care what your religion is. I don't care what your last name is. I watch your videos because you're a hard working, sweet, happy family. I do care about that. You guys do not need to explain anything about the way you work, about your life choices. It's your life. You do you. And people who don't like it... too bad. Then don't watch the videos and move on. Keep doing what you're doing cause there're a lot of people who really enjoy your videos. As do I. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Can't imagine people criticizing people for doing what they want to do. What is the matter with people? I've watched you for a few years now and I haven't criticized you once. I don't post much. I might have made a suggestion or two and asked a couple of questions, but never, ever would I criticize what you want to do. That's your business and nobody else's. I'm sure you don't mind legitimate information or suggestions though.

Doug & Eevee, you’ve shared many times about the harassment you get- which I just can’t understand. You’re such a wholesome family with high standards- who can criticize that? You’ve shown us that even though at times you’ve had challenges, you can & do work through them. That says a lot. I’ve been bedridden for going on 8 years now with a progressive chronic illness, & one of the reasons I love watching you guys, is you inspire me. You never give up. You may get knocked down but you always get up & keep moving forward. Not only are you setting a great example for your kids, but you inspire your viewers, including myself. Thank you! 🙏🏻

I simply don't understand why people have to criticize what you are doing. I enjoy just watching for the satisfaction of learning different things. I am 72 years old but I still do my own work. For instance I just moved into a older apartment and someone was dumb enough to paint the stove hood with wall paint. I sanded that thing down to bare metal and painted it with high heat paint. Also it is calming to me to watch someone else working. Sorry but y'all do work hard. Keep up the great work.

So glad you were able to salvage the sheet metal on the trailer. This whole project is a huge victory for you Doug.
In 2015 our farm had a bad flood. We lost a lot of stuff, $20k if we were to replace it all. There were a few things that got hung up in some trees a 1000 feet from our house and we did salvage a few things. One of those was a cart that you pull behind a mower. It was bent every which way but straight and I worked on it with a bottle jack and hammer until it was usable and I still use it today. Sometimes it’s the small victories that repair your soul.

Yay, moving right along on the storage trailer....every bit accomplished brings you closer to completion and you will then have a great dry place to store your equipment, extra supplies or bulky items again. Even beating out the tin siding turned out to be a workable solution and saved the expense of new tin. ❤

Like the storage trailer job. It looked like the pounding out the metal made it stiffer. I know it's a relief to be able to use it again.

I started watching your channel because of your content. The way you live is no one's business we don't need to know more than what you want to share. The only thing I wanted to know was if you'd save the cabinet and sink, and you did. I love all your ideas for your projects. Love to you all!❤

So many content creators have two and even three different channels and I can't keep up with them, so I'm glad you're back to one channel now. Also, your rehabbed trailer looks awesome! You saved so much money by doing that. I'm sure you'll figure out the best way to do your drip edge.

I forgot about the house kitchen and that we never got to see it completed, now we know why. I still would like to see it once it's finished, it's part of the "house series" and should be included.
I'm very surprised at some of the search/questions - a couple are just plain weird!
It's really nice you were able to salvage the metal siding and reuse it. It doesn't have to be perfect, it's a storage shed!

Ignore the haters. The only good thing they are doing is adding views and, by commenting, helping the algorithm the suckers 🤣 Personally I’ve watched you for years and yours is one of my favourite channels. Love from Scotland.
